Hestia - Asklipiou 9 — Hotel in Athens

greetings, greetings, поздрав, hello, здраво, I am a frequent traveler to Athens and when I say that I mean I come every month, I stayed in these apartments for the first time and here are my impressions.

The apartments are new, modernly equipped with all the things you need, the decor is nice and modern, the beds are brutally comfortable, so as for the decor and interior, it's all right.

The location is not bad, although the micro location itself is relatively problematic with noise, especially traffic and on weekends clubs that work until 6 in the morning.

Our stay of three nights and four days was relatively bad, that's why today is 16.3 and in Athens it is around 25-27 degrees during the day, the air conditioning system is on heating mode (this is what the owners sent us a message when we sent an inquiry), which means that you can heat yourself or turn it off, but the problem is that the apartments are all in the sun all day, in ours it was 33 degrees every day when we sent the message again, we got a reply to open the windows and you can then imagine the noise with the heat, the solutions were that we were with the children all day at 33 degrees.

CONCLUSION with these apartments, you can have a problem with the transition from winter to spring and from autumn to winter, and that's a serious problem which you can't solve, we have similar princes at home and we know that it's easy to do, you just need good will, that's not the case with the apartment provider who said that they can't switch to cooling at night, it's winter, it's night and the temperature hasn't dropped...

This has been one of the most frustrating hotel experiences I’ve ever had. We paid extra for a “superior” room, only to be placed in a family room when we arrived. After we had already unpacked, the staff insisted we move, even though we offered to let the new family take the superior room instead (since the rooms are identical in size and layout). We agreed only because it was our first day and we didn’t want to argue.

Three days later, the staff told us we had to move rooms again because the one we were in was “booked” — even though, again, the rooms are exactly the same. We explained that we could have just stayed in our original room, but they refused to listen. Now, we’re forced to repack everything just to move into another identical room for our last night.

Instead of being able to relax on our vacation, we’ve had to waste time packing, unpacking, and moving around unnecessarily because of the hotel’s poor management and lack of consideration for guests. For the price we paid, this level of disorganization is unacceptable.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who values their time, comfort, or basic...

Das Hestia Asklopiu Apartment in Athen überzeugt auf ganzer Linie durch seine moderne Ausstattung und makellose Sauberkeit. Die Suite ist gemütlich und hochwertig eingerichtet, inklusive einer praktischen Küchenecke mit allem, was man braucht – Kühlschrank, Mikrowelle, Wasserkocher und Nespresso-Maschine sind vorhanden. Besonders angenehm ist die leise Klimaanlage, die effizient arbeitet, ohne dass sie einen aus dem Bett pustet. Das Bett ist sehr bequem und breit, was für erholsamen Schlaf sorgt.

Das Badezimmer ist zwar klein, aber absolut ausreichend und modern ausgestattet. Ein echtes Highlight der Suite ist der Balkon mit einem atemberaubenden Blick auf die Stadt, den Lykavittós-Berg und die Akropolis. Es ist ein wahrer Genuss, abends auf der Terrasse zu sitzen, ein Glas Wein in der Hand, und auf die beleuchtete Akropolis zu blicken – ein unvergessliches Erlebnis.

Die Lage ist hervorragend, sehr zentral und dennoch ruhig. Die Gegend ist angenehm, mit vielen Restaurants, Bars und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe. Sie mag nicht die schönste Ecke Athens sein, bietet aber eine entspannte Atmosphäre, die nach dem Trubel in Agora, Plaka oder an der Akropolis sehr wohltuend ist. Wenn man nicht zu empfindlich ist, kann man sogar bei offenem Fenster schlafen.

Viele der wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten sind bequem zu Fuß erreichbar – die Akropolis, Agora, Plaka, die Bergbahn zum Lykavittós, sowie zahlreiche Museen und Einkaufsstraßen. Ein weiteres Plus ist das Café direkt unter dem Apartment, das großartigen Cappuccino und Frapé anbietet. Es gibt auch mehrere Imbisse mit gutem Essen sowie exzellente Restaurants in der Nähe. Trotz der zentralen Lage ist die Gegend überraschend ruhig, obwohl nur 500 Meter entfernt die belebte Einkaufsmeile beginnt.

Die Anbindung ist ebenfalls erstklassig: Die Metro, die direkt mit dem Flughafen verbunden ist, liegt nur 300 Meter entfernt. Auch eine Hop-On-Hop-Off-Bushaltestelle befindet sich in der Nähe. Allerdings kann man sich die rote Linie sparen, wenn man gut zu Fuß ist. Ansonsten besteht die Erkundung aus Warten auf den Bus und einer langsamen Fahrt im Kriechtempo durch Athens Staus.

Ein kleiner Nachteil ist das Fehlen einer Rezeption. Wer einen frühen Flug hat, muss bis 15 Uhr auf den Einlass warten, und es gibt leider keine Möglichkeit, das Gepäck vor Ort aufzubewahren. Diese Kleinigkeit trübt jedoch den insgesamt hervorragenden Eindruck nicht.

Fazit: Das Hestia Asklopiu Apartment ist eine klare Empfehlung – besonders die Terrasse ist ein Muss! Alles in allem eine fantastische Unterkunft für einen unvergesslichen...
