This hotel is not very good.. although the service was amazing and I truly appreciate it, it does not match the quality of the hotel. The beds are awful 😢 paper thin and you sink right into the bed, it was so uncomfortable to sleep on and I barley slept the time I was here, it felt like there was no AC in the room, the room didn’t feel clean, even after the first day I had weird red marks all over my legs and I’m wondering if it was from the bed .. the towels etc just didn’t feel properly cleaned to me and the bed sheets also were paper thin and rough .. I thought I would look forward to the breakfast but sadly that was horrible too. I’m not a picky eater but the food was so dry and hard I could not eat anything there but the coffee machine was great so that’s something. It was also located in a bad area which is not their fault but it’s not a good look to watch several people doing dr3gs out on the street on the way to the hotel 😳 overall this is not a luxury hotel like they say it is and when in Athens you should really go all out on a nice hotel cuz it feels like there...
Read moreMy fiancé and I stayed at this hotel in August 2024, and our experience was absolutely unacceptable. Upon entering our room, we were hit with a strong smell of smoke that clung to everything, including the clothes in our luggage. We had to wash all of our clothes during our holiday, which was incredibly disruptive and frustrating.||Opening the windows did nothing to improve the situation. To make matters worse, after leaving the hotel, my fiancé discovered multiple bites all over his body. During our stay, he had to wear long clothes to bed because he felt like something was biting him. We were sleeping in separate beds, and I didn’t experience the same issue.||Our travel agent filed a complaint with photos of the bites, but the hotel refused to take responsibility, dismissing them as mosquito bites. Trust me, they didn’t look like mosquito bites, and I wasn’t bitten at all. I am appalled by the hotel’s complete lack of accountability and its failure to address these...
Read moreThe hotel is very average - clean rooms, tiny bathrooms, and acceptable common areas. Sadly, the price charged is embarrassing to what else is on offer in better neighbourhoods nearby. However, the location is horrendous. At ALL times of day and night directly outside the hotel and in the surrounding street there were dozens of vagrants roaming about, several people openly using IV drugs, prostitutes, constant smell of urine and feces in the neighbourhood, and the metro, while close, is not safe. There is no food or drink options nearby because the location is so bad. I always ended up taking the metro to Plaka. only stayed here because I joined a tour and this was the starting hotel. The cab driver that dropped me off told me to be careful and not stay here - luckily it was only 2 nights. DO NOT STAY HERE! You can find better, safer, more lively and cheaper accommodation in Plaka where everything...
