A very disappointing meal. The food was okay - but not for the prices charged - and the service was just awful.

An arriving we were greeted and seated at our table, and then ignored. Being an early booking there were few diners in the establishment but numerous waiters - most of whom were doing nothing.

We finally ordered and were served our wine (priced 60€ yet available in the shops for 13€) and sparkling water (which was then topped up with still water every 10 minutes).

The most alarming aspect of the meal was being given the wrong food - someone else’s order. My partner put some fries on the plate with the steak and had already started eating them when the plate was snatched away and replaced with the correct order. I understand mistakes happen but I was appalled that someone would have been given the steak after we had almost eaten it! The dish put in front of me was also taken away and replaced with my intended order. The side was also wrong but not replaced (and the waiter graciously informed us that we would not be charged for this dish). The correct side dish arrived at the table about 10 minutes later.

Overall, the meat has far too much salt sprinkled all over it and the prices are extremely high. I don’t mind paying for a good steak once in a while but the cost must also include good service - sadly lacking at this eatery.

The beef tartare (named “Raw” in the menu) was excellent as a starter, with nice balanced flavours.

“Crust” which is basically a twisted shepherd’s pie is the best seller for a reason. Perhaps it could seem slightly salty to some, but I personally found it appropriate combined with the rest of the flavours.

Sides:

The honey glazed carrots were excellent. They were also accompanied by a nice yoghurt based sauce with slightly acidic flavour.

The mac and cheese were to die for. They are accompanied by a crunchy element on top which really suits them.

The “warm seasonal greens” were very good as well.

Beef cuts:

The 40-day dry aged chateaubriand was excellent.

We also tried the strip loin and it was very good.

Desserts:

The milk chocolate tart dessert had a very nice texture and interesting hints of passion fruit. The ice-cream accompanies...

Επισκέφτηκε πρόσφατα το συγκεκριμένο εστιατόριο ημέρα Κυριακή 10 η ώρα. Ωραίος προσεγμένος χώρος με ωραία διακόσμηση λίγο σκοτεινός στο φωτισμό. Ωραία ευχάριστη και χαμογελαστή η κοπέλα στην υποδοχή Τα τραπέζια άνετα μεγάλα όχι το ένα πάνω στο άλλο με ωραίο setup. Στο σέρβις ηταν εμφανής η διάθεση από τον σερβιτόρο να πουλήσει ότι περισσότερο μπορεί καθώς και από τον sommelier να αναβαθμίσει την πώληση. Σε αντίθεση με τον αγέλαστο σερβιτόρο ο sommelier ήταν ευχάριστος και κέρδισε την πώληση ακριβότερων κρασιών από αυτά που είχαμε στην αρχή επιλέξει. Στην παραγγελία μας ζητήσαμε από τον σερβιτόρο να έρθουν τα πιάτα που επιλεξαμε σιγά σιγά όλα στη μέση. Αφού εδειξε να δυσανασχετεί μας είπε οτι δεν ξέρει αν μπορεί η κουζίνα. Προφανώς και λάθος της κουζίνας που δίνει τέτοιες οδηγίες. Εν τέλη τα κατάφεραν και ήρθαν σιγά σιγά . Όσον αφορά το φαγητό έλειπε το βασικότερο το τραπέζιου που ήταν το ψωμί και δεν ερωτηθηκαμε ποτέ αν θέλουμε. Για πρώτο πήραμε roll με χοιρινό λουκάνικο και τάρταρ μοσχαρισιο που ήταν εξαιρετικά. Για δεύτερο ένα φιλέτο Chateaubriand ελληνικό που ήταν και η έκπληξη της βραδιάς. Ψημένο τελεια rare. Επόμενο πιάτο ένα Kagoshima Wagyu Rib Eye πολύ ωραία ψημένο μέτριο αλλά θεωρώ όχι αντάξιο της τιμής του. Τέλος η απογοήτευση της βράδιας ένα bone in ribeye Rubia Gallega Dry Aged 90 ημερών. Ψημένο τουλάχιστον medium rare ενώ ζητήσαμε medium κάτι που όμως δεν μας ενόχλησε. Οστοσο ήταν υπερβολικά σκληρό άγευστο και εκτιμώ σε καμία περίπτωση 90 ημερών. Στα συνοδευτικά μια πολύ ωραία σάλτσα πράσινο πιπέρι με κονιάκ και πατάτες τηγανητές. Στα γλυκά τάρτα σοκολάτας και ένα γλυκο με λεμόνι το οποίο μας κέρασαν μαζι με ένα ποτήρι γλυκό κρασί ήταν ότι έπρεπε για κλείσιμο. Wine list καλη αλλά τιμες υπερτιμημένες χωρίς λόγο. Στα highlights της βραδιάς κάποιος κυρίος του προσωπικού που καθόταν δίπλα από το μπαρ στο χώρο του προσωπικού φύσαγε την μύτη του και συνέχισε να την καθαρίσει με πολύ μεγάλη επιτυχία για κανένα 3λεπτο!!! Τελείως ΑΒΟΛΟ ! Στα πολύ αρνητικά της βραδιάς περίπου 23.30 μας ενημέρωσαν αν θέλουμε γλυκό γιατι κλείνει η κουζίνα. 23.50 είμαστε μόνοι μας στο μαγαζί και γύρω γύρω έχουν μαζευτει όλα τα τραπέζια κάτι που μας έκανε να ζητήσουμε λογαριασμό για να φύγουμε άρον άρον. Τέλος ωραία έκπληξη ένα σοκολάτακι σε σχήμα νεκροκεφαλής. Τελικός λογαριασμός 520€ για 3 άτομα
