The property has 4 rooms, a shared kitchen and a very nice rooftop terrace with a great view of the Acropolis. It was a pleasure to enjoy some Greek wine on the terrace in the evenings during our stay. The building is in the middle of Monastiraki Flea Market, 3 minutes from Monastiraki Metro Station. All points of interest are located nearby (Agora, Acropolis, Plaka, Psiri). You don't have to use any public transport, just walk around. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. There is an AC in the room so you can accommodate the temperature you want. We travelled in early December when it was a bit chilly so we had to use the AC to heat the room. There are some steep stairs to climb, so be careful if you have a lot of luggage. Check-in and check-out is done on your own and is very easy. All the ingredients for breakfast are kept in the fridge located in the common kitchen and you have to prepare the breakfast yourself. The only downside to this accommodation is the street noise at night, but that's part of...

The Shower was solid, the internet however repeatedly cut out, trying to watch TV, or just browse the internet. You have a third floor balcony kitchen with a cute little overlooking which you can see acropolis.
The breakfast is make your own, with ingredients in a shared fridge is in a shared space for all rooms, and is not refilled each day (At least for our two night stay). There was promise of a complimentary bottle of wine which was not there, but we whatsapped them about it and they brought the bottle that evening
Value is very good, a solid price for a pretty in-the mix location. Room was clean and the one warning I would have is that there is loud music nearby in businesses if you are an early sleeper, and the stairs are not accessible for anyone handicapped, though was perfectly fine for us.

Read moreI stayed here with my boyfriend for four nights. It was very convenient to the metro station and all the historical and archeology sites in Athens. It has a great roof top terrace for breakfast and sitting around for post dinner drinks with an amazing view of the Acropolis. Breakfast was a simple bread, cheese, fruit, coffee, and eggs. This was enough for us but if it is not for you, then there are a ton of restaurants within walking distance.
Be aware that they text you the code to the door as there is not a front desk to check in. I personally received the code late since I was not hooked up to the wifi and did not have international cell service so I spent about 15 minutes figuring out how to get in. They give you this information via WhatsApp and you can use the hotel wifi if you stand very close to...
