My husband and I stopped into this jeweler during our stay in Athens. One of the employees, a gentleman, was showing us a pair of gold diamond earrings that I was interested in. We were speaking for about two minutes when an older gentleman (I presume the owner) interrupted and told the gentleman that we were wasting his time and weren’t going to buy anything. He then told my husband and I to either “sit down and talk business or leave the store” while opening the front door and motioning for us to leave. We were so taken back by the blatant rudeness and disrespect that we left in shock without saying a word. My best guess is that he thought because we are young Americans, we couldn’t possibly afford anything in the store. I recently had the opportunity to visit Athens and ended up in this store. What a gem! Their selection is great, sizes, options of precious metals and stones, and a combination of more mainstream and unique designs. The service was excellent, not pushy at all. I was personally more interested in finding something unique, and they were very patient to show me various options. Plan to spend at least an hour to find exactly what you want. My first time in Greece and my first time buying gold. I shopped around went to a few different stores and the customer service I got in the store was not just customer service. It was being treated like family, brought out wine while I was looking at different pieces of jewelry, offered food as well. They were so kind and patient with me while I was making my decisions. I highly recommend checking out this jewelry store not just for the quality of their jewelry, but the quality of their customer service as well. Will definitely be back next time...
