Theta Seaside Boutique Hotel — Hotel in Municipality of Chania

We were met by two very polite guys, offering to carry our bags. The two were Georg and Dimitry, both very forthcoming and accommodative. The rooms were beautiful, clean and new. A very comfortable bed, nice shower, big balcony and jacuzzi. The views are beautiful, you can watch the sunset and the moon, while enjoying a drink on the balcony. Everything within the room was brilliant, but the best thing was Georg. Georg was on stand-by all day and most of the evening, ready and happy to help with anything! He is very friendly, understanding and nice to talk to in general. Whatever little ‘problem’ we had, he solved it. We had a very late flight home and he let us store our luggage until very late. When we went to get our luggage, he offered us a room to change clothes for the flight (no charge). He was very caring and understanding, I’ve travelled a lot and met many beautiful people offerimg different services, but I have never ever met a more helpful, genuine and brilliant guy than Georg. This hotel is a lovely small hotel located close to the Venetian harbour. Unlike many in the area it has a safe parking area right across the road, which is invaluable as finding a place to park in the street is a bit like winning the lottery. We had a room on the first floor which is not accessed by a lift so be prepared to carry your luggage up a few step unless Spiros, your host, is there to help. As Spiros offered us his phone number he was easily contactable and went well out of his way at times to assist. In fact the hotel staff were outstanding in terms of their communications and helpfulness. The room itself was quite roomy with a view to the sea. The bed and shower could not be faulted and the television channels provided were numerous. The hotel did not provide meals but dining options were plentiful in the next street and even more so within a short walk to the Venetian harbour. From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed. The owner is incredibly kind and genuine, he offered his phone number and helped us with everything we’ve needed, you can tell he truly cares about his guests. He made sure everything was perfect from check-in to check-out.

The staff were also fantastic—always friendly, helpful, and full of positive energy. It really made the whole experience feel warm and personal.

The rooms were amazing, beautifully decorated, super comfortable, and spacious. Everything felt fresh and well taken care of. And the cleanliness was next-level. The room, the bathroom, and even the balcony were spotless you could eat off the floor, honestly!
