ELPIS MYKONOS APARTMENTS — Hotel in Municipality of Mykonos

We're extremely disappointed with this apartment. The booking publication is pretty misleading. They sell it for four people but the reality is that is way too small, at most it's for three people. They say it has two bedrooms and a kitchen, but actually it has one bedroom and one kitchen with a double bed, which is right next to the oven/stove, you can't cook in that kitchen/bedroom. They didn't show this in the booking publication's photos, they sell it like a full second bedroom. Because of that we felt kind of scamed. If they had shown the kitchen/bedroom as it is, we would've been aware. We booked this apartment with the intention of using the kitchen but it was impossible due to the closeness to the bed, the low roof and the poor ventilation (the kitchen/bedroom has only a tiny window to a narrow ventilation shaft). And even if we could cook, it wasn't possible to eat in the apartment because there isn't a dining table nor chairs. When we told them about this, their answer was we could eat at a restaurant... Their suggestion was we shouldn't cook at the apartment...

About the roof height, it's too low, just 1,90m and the doors are 1,70m, a tall person can't fit there. There's no room for four suitecases, the bedroom and the kitchen with the bed are too small. We were really uncomfortable.

I don't recommend this apartment for more than two people, neither tall...

I browsed the website of Elpis Apartment and saw many old family photos at the guesthouse. It was run by their family for years and I could feel the warmth of their family. After I made the booking, the host Elena was kind to contact me and see if anything I would need. The location is superb. It was about 10 minutes by SeaBus from the main ferry pier. It was a very scenic ride.

It is very close to the old pier and downtown with lots of restaurant choices.

It is very convenient to take the ferry to Delos Island. We went to the three restaurants nearby that Elena recommended personally - Captain's, Kounelas Fish Tavern and Mosaic.

The apartment has 4 rooms. I booked a room that has a balcony facing the old harbor. It was enjoyable to enjoy a cup of coffee on the balcony with the exclusive view of the harbor and overlooking the main street full of people. The room has two beds with one on the upper deck. AMAZING LITTLE APARTMENT IN THE CENTRE OF MYKONOS We stayed there for a week in apartment number 4, it is cozy however it has everything you need. There is a kitchen with an oven to cook your own dishes. The bedroom has a smart TV with netflix, spotify etc. It is located in the heart of Mykonos in the middle of shops and restaurants. If you're looking for a quiet escape this place may not be for you as it is located in the busy centre however if I could I would live in this apartment all year long. Truly fell in love with it!
