Mytheo Luxury Studios — Hotel in Municipality of Mykonos

We stayed here in August 2025 for our first trip to Mykonos and our 10 year wedding anniversary.

We can’t say enough good things about our stay here. The hotel is locally owned and run, which gives you that “Mykonos Hospitality” that the island is known for. The host Michalis was so friendly and kind. He went above and beyond for us more than once, and it really made our stay special.

The hotel room “balcony suite” we were in was perfect, with both a balcony and a front patio area. The AC was fantastic, the shower had great water pressure, and even in the August heat we were super comfortable.

We felt it was the perfect location as it was only a 5 minute walk to Mykonos Town, but far enough away that it was quiet at night. It’s only 1–2 minutes uphill from the road, which made taxi pickup and drop off really easy. Honestly, it was the best balance of convenience, value, and comfort we could have asked for.

One small note: if walking a short hill on the main road isn’t for you, it’s something to keep in mind before booking. That said, this hotel truly delivers on everything it promises. We were so glad we chose it and would absolutely stay again.

Overview: those are 6-7 suites built behind an existing family house with a nice little garden. It seems the business is ran by the family.

Positive: 1-Very new, very clean, one of the cleanest stays ever. 2-Location 5-10min from the Centre of Mykonos 3-We got free room upgrade. 4- coffee machine in the room 5- room size is spacious 6- The host also helped us arranging for early morning taxi. 7- Daily house keeping and towels, paper, Coffeee refill.

Negative 1- the walk from the Centre to the room is uphill ( around 150m or uphill) ( see photos). But this is less than the other hotels higher up.

2- glass window in the suites door that and also glass ceiling in the dressing which meant sunlight early In the morning. This was the main issue in the room otherwise it would’ve been 5 stars.

Overall we had a lovely stay and we would recommend this...

Michalis, the owner of Mytheo Studios, is one of the nicest hosts I have ever met. I started texting him two months before my trip, and he was extremely helpful, even sending me videos of the small hill leading to his hotel.

My studio was beautiful, super clean, and equipped with a very comfortable bed, a great shower, and high-quality sheets, towels, and pillows. I even received a lovely beach bag, which I’m still using at beaches around Greece.

I would definitely recommend staying at Mytheo Studios and would gladly stay there again. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the bus station for easy access to the beaches. Michalis also helped me with a car issue and went out of his way to assist me...
