Diagonios Mykonos offers tasty, great-value gyros and a relaxed street-side vibe, perfect for people-watching over a casual meal and cocktail.
We’d walked past this place a few times before finally giving in to the “€5 gyros wraps” sign, and I’m glad we did.
Food (4/5): We stopped by earlier in the day for a cocktail; refreshing and well-made, then came back for dinner. My wife got the standard €5 gyros, and I went for the “royal” version. Both were delicious, generous, and full of flavour. Not quite the best we’ve had in Mykonos, but still really enjoyable and great value for the island.
Service (3.5/5): Staff were friendly and easygoing, but service could’ve been a bit sharper. We were basically the only ones there and still waited quite a while to order and get the bill. Not a big issue since we were relaxing, but worth noting.
Atmosphere (4/5): Loved the setup; open, airy, and perfect for watching the street buzz by. Great spot for a chilled dinner and a bit of people-watching.
Overall: A good-value, tasty option in Mykonos with friendly staff and a nice casual vibe. Worth a visit for a relaxed meal or quick bite.
Rating: 4/5 ⭐️ Not the best gyros on the island, but still a winner for price, flavour,...

The food here is simple but exceptional. The pork gyros was one of the best we’ve ever tried — juicy, perfectly grilled, well-seasoned, and served with crispy pita bread. The soutzoukakia (Greek-style meatballs) were incredibly flavorful and perfectly cooked!
The Greek salad was also excellent, with fresh tomatoes and feta that literally melted in your mouth. All the other dishes we saw coming out of the kitchen looked equally well-prepared and appetizing.
The space is clean, minimal, and welcoming, with a relaxed and friendly vibe. The staff was extremely polite and helpful — happy to explain the dishes and offer suggestions based on our preferences.
Prices are very reasonable, especially for Mykonos, and the quality far exceeds what you’d expect from a spot known for street food.

Read moreStumbled across Diagonios while walking around Mykonos and honestly, it was one of the best food decisions of the trip. The soutzoukaki was incredible—so flavorful and cooked just right—and the gyros were easily the best we had on the island. Super juicy, great seasoning, and everything tasted fresh. It’s a no-frills kind of place, but the food speaks for itself. We ended up coming back twice during our stay. Highly recommend if you want something local and genuinely tasty. Very...
