Island Sea Side Hotel — Hotel in Municipality of Rhodes

The hotel is new and the staff were lovely that’s where it ends, I paid quite a bit extra for a sea view room , the sea view was if you went onto the balcony walked to the very left hand side and jumped up stretching your neck around the corner of the building , I was very annoyed and angry and sent a message to the hotel but heard nothing back, also the hotel is in the red light district and the music is very very loud so if your planning on a quiet break this is not for you, Iv come home exhausted, I bought earbuds from the chemist but to no avail and the music goes on until 2-4am every night , About 3 days before we were leaving I asked for a late check out , they couldn’t do it , I asked could we pay to keep the room on they couldn’t do it , I asked could we leave our luggage with them and get showered as we’re out of our room at 11am and the flight was at 9.30pm , they don’t have anywhere for you to get washed or showered , there is a toilet downstairs but not suitable for getting cleaned up, the suitcase were put in like a broom cupboard and there was 2 others there , there were no tickets given so anybody could have lifted the wrong luggage , honestly this hotel is for party goers , it’s definitely not a relaxing hotel , I contacted booking.com but heard nothing from...

Sylvia on reception was absolutely brilliant, she was warm and welcoming and provided advice and recommendations. She always made the effort to speak and had great conversation, she made our stay much more enjoyable. We were disappointed with the hotel however... although recently renovated to a good standard our room was unfinished (no hooks for towels, just the brackets on the wall, only one of which was installed on the last day of our stay) and the room was poorly designed for example nowhere to store toiletry bags in bathroom, room too small to have your case open and nowhere to store it. The bedroom was listed as a double but two single beds with no mattress protector and a non fitted sheet covering which easily removed as you slept meaning you woke on the bare mattress The pillows were hard and uncomfortable, the walls thin so could hear others in the hallway. The decor is lovely and as pictured. The hotel has potential but we wouldn't have wanted to stay longer than the couple of nights...

After looking at the menu i tried ordering the spareribe. They were out. Then tried ordering the beef sirlon steak, they were out. Ended up ordering the truffel burger and 500ml of house wine. Ended up getting something looking like rose wine but tasting white wine. We then asked for a propper red wine that goes with the meat we just ordered. They were out. Got the wine on the house but considering the experience in total, i do not recommend.

Tried ordering a beer instead of the red wine they were out of (sol) but they were out of this one as well. So ended up with local beer.

Then the food arrive. I get my main course, 2 of my friends get their appertizers and my last friend dont get anything (he ordered appertiziers and meal course). I asked for ketchup for my fries, took 20 min to get the ketchup. Then when im done with my main meal my friends get their maincourse and my last friend gets his appertizer and main course at same time.
