A small hotel in the center of Rhodes Town, with an AMAZING location: close to the medieval city, close to the bus stops, close to shops and restaurants, close to Elli beach... its THE pro of this hotel.
The "its okay" parts are: The personnel: Its the part I wanted to mark as a "great", and it was for most of my trip; personnel ranges in two extremes: extremely friendly and helpful, which I got for most of my trip, to "extremely disinterested and borderline hostile", which I met during my checkout; I dont speak greek, and the lady that handled my checkout, who I was seeing for the first time since I came to this hotel, had to be cajoled into condescending to speak english, then told me "just give keys and you're done", after which she simply threw the keys away groaning and went back to the Chicha bar. So I'd say not too great a departure experience. Otherwise, personnel was great, providing smiles and helpful tips on how to get around. The rooms: the bathroom is too small, and that curtain will stick to you. Otherwise the room are pretty okay and I liked mine. More in the "con" tho. The breakfast: served its purpose, was generally forgettable but tasty
The cons: The rooms have no, and I mean NO isolation. You'll hear the street, you'll hear the other clients loudly talking in the corridors or slamming doors shut. You'll hear the cars, especially those passing at 3am blasting loud rap music. The other clients: Clients started banging on a room next to mine at 5am, the proceeded to shout and brawl for the better part of an hour. I couldn't know if it was a mugging, a murder, or just a dispute as I don't speak Greek, but I had a lot of questions. This was easily the worst aspect of my stay.
All in all would I recommend this hotel? Yes, with caveats, for a short stay or medium long stay if you're a solo traveler like me; if you dont mind the lack of isolation or can adapt to it fast, this hotel is a gem. The personnel is warm and friendly for the most part, with only one very rotten apple met, the location is easily the best location you could have, the breakfast is serviceable, and the beds are comfortable. If you're a family, as much for your own comfort that for the other client's, no. Maybe for a short stay, definitely not for s long one. The rooms will be too small, and the noise probably too important.
Giving it a 4/5 overall because I still had a great time overall, although I was out exploring most of the time and mostly was at the hotel at night or for a...

My recent stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing. The photos online are completely misleading, and the reality is far from what is advertised. The room was incredibly small, and the bathroom was in terrible condition. The room felt cramped and uncomfortable. The worst part was the bathroom. The bathroom was in terrible condition, with broken tiles and a strange, rustic look that I honestly don't know how to describe. It was in such a poor state that it felt unhygienic and unpleasant to use.
The so-called "safe/vault" was another major issue. It wasn’t even in the room! Instead, it was a locker with several shelves, located between the kitchen and the reception. To make matters worse, it’s placed right at the bottom of the stairs that lead up to/from the rooms, meaning anyone could be around while you’re trying to access your belongings. This didn’t feel secure at all.
The breakfast, which was advertised as a buffet, was nothing more than a few slices of salami, cheese, and some old bread. Definitely not what we were expecting or what was promised.
The worst part, however, was the service. When we brought up our concerns to the manager, she was extremely unhelpful and even offended that we dared to complain. She told us to come back in three days (because another 2 available rooms were in even worse condition than our room), promising to change our room. But when we returned, she suddenly claimed there were no rooms available and that we come tomorrow again which led to the repetative process that did not resolve anything! We stayed in the room that we’ve got on the first day. Also, at some point small bugs appeard in the room, which was cleaned by the room service immediatelly.
Overall, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. I would strongly advise against...
Read moreWe didn't have a great time in this hotel. The room was really dirty and our balcony was looking at the Caffe which turns out to be a Nightclub with music till 3 am, so it was a nightmare. The walls are mouldy, which is really dangerous for your health. The shower is sooooo small, which is ok for the kids maybe... but for adults not really, and there is some glass between the shower and toilet that have absolutely no purpose at all. They installed also a shower curtain, (I guess to keep the bathroom dry) but the shower is so small that you can't really use it, because it wraps around your body. So in the miniature bathroom, you have 2 big objects (glass and shower curtain) that are completely unuseful. On the balcony, there is some old, really dirty rope for your clothes to dry, I mean, come on, new rope is like 50 cents maybe less. Only 2 positive things about this hotel: Location - it's amazing Marija - the girl that works at the bar, sometimes reception, and who knows where else in that hotel. She was so nice and sweet, and she really tried above and beyond to make our time there wonderful. She gave us information about the best food, locations, and everything that we needed to know in Rhodes. So she made our stay there a little...
