I don't usually write reviews about my stays, but this one deserves the best! From the moment I started my stay, I was very pleased with Maria's warm welcome on the phone and her equally attentive and friendly behavior upon entering the hotel. Even though I only had a limited three days in Rhodes, she provided excellent guidance on what to do and how to make the most of them. She also provided valuable guidance regarding car rental, and I had no problems whatsoever. Thanks to her, I can say that I had a holiday to the fullest. I am equally grateful to Christina for her help and will remember her with the same fond feelings. They are very friendly and helpful. Regarding the hotel, it's in a great location. It's close to the Old Town and Elli Beach. You won't have any trouble walking to the city's main attractions. The cleanliness of the rooms and the hotel's architectural design are impeccable. Every detail feels carefully considered. Even the breakfast variety and Paola's style in presenting the menu leave a smile on your face :) I stayed alone, and I can say that every detail pleased me. If I had more time, I would like to get to know each and every one of the people here better. They're a reminder of how many wonderful people there are in the world. Thank you so much for everything. I hope to see you...
Read moreWe stayed at Elakati for 2 nights as part of our honeymoon. From start to finish the service was excellent. The whole hotel is spotless and finished perfectly. The attention to detail is second to none and all the staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Maria was brilliant. So friendly and made us feel so welcome. She could not do enough for us and we would like to thank her and her colleagues so much. |We stayed in the Helios suit on the top floor. This room and balcony was incredible. We couldn't fault a single thing. Every bit of the hotel was clean, fresh and literally spotless. The balcony was finished perfectly, with sun lounges, hot tub and seating area where we had breakfast one morning. There was a top roof cover that you could bring in or out using a remote. The shower was fab with lots of different functions- including steam room. We also had a sauna in the room but didn't use this. The room was turned down for us when we came back after a day out. |The breakfast was also delicious, prepared fresh and very tasty, as well as the freshly squeezed orange juice which was amazing. |I highly recommend staying at Elakati, you would never be disappointed. |Thank you to all the team there for making the beginning of our honeymoon so perfect. |Lucy and Joe...
Read moreThe hotel is fairly new (2 years old at the time of this review). The location is ideally close enough to the old city of Rhodes, within walking distance, but not too close as to be noisy. The staff is polite and eager to assist with anything needed, and fluent in many languages, including French and Italian (besides excellent English) which is what I overheard during my stay. The breakfast buffet caters to many different tastes (do yourselves a favor and make sure to try the peanut butter cheesecake, I personally broke an 8 month no-dessert rule for it), and the cook will ask if you require something savory to be prepared for you at that time.
The rooms are very very clean, and the cleaner can visit even twice in a day if required. Also, it has amenities for people with disabilities, something not usually found in the hotels close to the city port, or sometimes even in larger hotels of the island. And I can't praise the bed comfort enough!
What really sets it apart from many other hotels, is their eagerness to help, ask for suggestions and improvements. While a small establishment, it provides a great value for travelers who don't wish to spend their days in the (too many) all-inclusive large hotel complexes Rhodes is...
