Als mansion — Hotel in Municipality of Thira

Anima Residence - Excellent location. Breath taking views. Private views of the sunset and water from the Anima residence. Very accommodating and polite hosts Stella and Evelyn. Very safe place. Full kitchen with all necessities, no microwave Sufficient toiletries and candles. Calling the host in advance is highly recommended to setup meeting time at the nearby Post office. I would recommend renting a car and my host had arranged one for me at the airport pickup and drop. Very safe to park at the post office but parking is limited. You don’t need a car otherwise if you are planning to stay in Oia only. I would highly recommend staying in Oia then other places to get true white/blue postcards romantic views. Host was super friendly and helpful all the time, he let us arrive way earlier from the check in since the booking before us left early that day we had a little trouble with the wifi but he helped us out really well, doesn't have a pool nor ocean view but it's quite unexpensive and really well located and spacious, the only issue was that it was very noise, you can hear all the people walking at night after party since it's quite close to many bars. the shower is combined with the rest of the bathroom so you get everything inside wet and the bed is on a kind of loft so you have to clima a stairs and when you wake up the roof is really close to your face, I can imagine that might be a problem for some but it...

Fuimos en invierno. No es un hotel, por lo que hay que coordinar previamente tema de llaves. Mi experiencia: en mi voucher (que no mencionaba que era una casa particular) figuraba como Als Mansion, por lo que pasé la reja donde estaba el cartel y toque. No hubo respuesta, por lo que salimos a recorrer un poco Oia (por suerte las valijas las habíamos dejado en el hotel de Fira). Volvimos más tarde y tampoco hubo respuesta de repente pasa un chica y nos grita que salgamos inmediatamente de ahí que era propiedad privada de un modo bastante desagradable. Yo le digo que tenía una reserva alli y que decía Als Mansion, la mujer está resultó ser Joana, la encargada. La verdad de casualidad la encontramos, ella no había tomado ningún recaudo de mandarnos mensaje ni tampoco teníamos su teléfono. El trato fue inicialmente bastante desagradable. Después ante nuestro manifiesto desagrado fue un poco más cordial. Fuera de ese percance no menor, el alojamiento es muy pequeño, tiene detalles de falta de terminación, se nota un buen maquillaje a un lugar que poco vale, solo hornallas, no microondas ni cocina, aire acondicionado no funcionaba (igual esto lo solucionaron brindándonos un caloventor electrico), el baño minúsculo, olvídense de poder darse una ducha ahí y la tv no funcionaba el control...en fin, es "económico" para lo que es Oia, pero mucho mejor es hospedarse en Fira, donde hay más opciones para comer y más amabilidad, tomarse un bus a Oia (sale solo 1.80 euros por tramo y tiene muy buena frecuencia) pasar el día, ver el sobrevalorado...
