Good location, clean room, excellent view of the sunrise! Nothing fancy - no amenities but it covers most of the basics. ||The only place where this came up short was the mattress - but that’s fixable if the owners care enough. I made a reservation 13 days before a stay in Santorini, not realizing that my travel companion had also already booked a reservation at a nicer hotel as a surprise.

When I reached within a few hours of making the reservation to request an exception to the nonrefundable booking fee due to an honest mistake and miscommunication, I was met with hostility and complete lack of empathy from the front desk stating that no exceptions are made within 14 days of the reservation.

Even airlines allow a 24 hour grace period to cancel without fees...
