This place made us feel like home when we were in Santorini. |Great location: you just need 2-3 min to reach the center of Santorini, Fira.|Very nice apartments, with beautiful balcony view. |We had a very comfortable stay. The rooms were comfy and air conditioned. |Everything needed was there. We even found some strawberry jam, toasts, Nescafe sachets, etc on our kitchen table.. |However, the shower water has to be fixed: there was literally 5% of water coming out to shower! ||I wouldn't have mentioned this after our satisfying stay at this apartment but i have to because it was a big problem for us back then: the first night/ early morning, we requested an early check in with approval from the owner and arrived with all our luggage. We were so disappointed to hear that the apartments were full and that the owner misunderstood our request ( despite the fact that she accepted the early check in with a reply). We left our luggage there and kept looking for hours for another place to stay at during early morning hours. I wish this did not happen so we could have had a great stay at Katerina Kafieri aparments from the beginning. So be aware of such mistakes/ misunderstandings with the owner: she does not speak English well. Absolutely amazing stay at Katerina Kafieri Apartments! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by Katerina, a wonderfully kind and hospitable lady who made sure we had everything we needed. The apartments are incredibly clean and spacious, offering a level of comfort that far exceeds what you’d get from a standard hotel room—at a fraction of the price!

First of all the owner, Katerina, despite her little english, will go out of her way to make you feel at home. I stayed in apartment 1, upstairs, with my own entrance, a bedroom with a king size bed, another bedroom with a single bed and tv, kitchen (provided are bread, jellym butter, coffee and tea for breakfast), bathroom and a great balcony with a table and 3 chairs with a great view of the sea (not on the caldera side but still very nice)- The position is excellent, a 5' walk from Thira main square.
