My wife and I had the most unforgettable stay in Santorini for our honeymoon, thanks to the amazing hospitality at this small, family-owned business that has been operating for over thirty years in Imerovigli. From the moment we arrived, Dimitris was there to greet us late at night, guiding us through the village, helping us find parking, and even assisting with our bags. Katerina welcomed us warmly and, knowing it was our first time in Greece, gave us a fantastic rundown on the island’s geography, must-see spots, and local dishes to try. Every morning, we were treated to a delicious and customizable breakfast, brought right to our room. It was the perfect start to our days of exploring. The room was always thoroughly clean, and we were even welcomed with some homemade wine, which was a lovely touch. The AC was a blessing during the daytime after walking around in the heat. The suite itself was spacious and well-furnished, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Just keep in mind that the bathroom is quite small, but it didn’t detract from our overall experience. The view from our balcony was simply breathtaking, and we truly appreciated the privacy and tranquility. The location was ideal—situated between Oia and Fira but tucked away in a quieter, more secluded village. On top of everything, their kindness extended beyond our stay. A bottle of my wife’s perfume was left behind, and they went out of their way to ship it back to us, covering the postage themselves. It’s these thoughtful and honorable gestures that make this place truly special. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing Santorini experience at a great value.

One of the most beautiful and peaceful stays of my life I spent a full week on Santorini and hiked almost the entire island — including the famous trail from Fira to Oia — and I can confidently say that this hotel has the best location for caldera views. The view from the balcony is simply breathtaking. You honestly don’t need to go anywhere — the sunsets here are perfect, right from your own terrace. The breakfast was absolutely lovely — thoughtful, fresh, changing every day, and served with great care. It was the perfect start to each morning. Cleanliness was impeccable. It was a real joy to come back every day to a beautifully maintained space. The staff were not only friendly, but genuinely kind, intelligent, and helpful — a rare and very appreciated quality. The location is also perfect for exploring the island. It’s an easy walk to Fira, or you can take a bus (the stop is just 5 minutes away). There are also restaurants and a small grocery shop nearby for anything you might need. What really made it special for me was the peace and quiet. I truly appreciated the “silent all time hours” atmosphere — it gave me the same sense of serenity I felt on the Maldives. You’re in beautiful apartments, with access to reception when needed, but at the same time you feel completely at peace, on your own, surrounded by beauty and silence. ✨ It was a place that made me feel fully present, deeply rested, and truly happy. I’ll carry the memory of this stay with me for a long time.

There’s not a better place to stay in Santorini than IRIDA. If you want an amazing view any time of day, stay here. If you want hot coffee and an incredible breakfast delivered to your room each morning, stay here. If you want to be within walking distance of some of the best restaurants in Santorini, stay here. Katerina and Demitri are great hosts and gave great recommendations of places to go and things to do. Elias and Efie kept the rooms spotless…they literally clean and dust every surface, inside and out, throughout the day. There’s a Nespresso machine in the room, along with a kitchenette and great A/C. We rented a car (highly recommend) and were able to easily find a spot right down the hill from IRIDA in a free lot. The pool was super refreshing too. This stop was the highlight of our two week honeymoon and we will definitely be back!!!

We were greeted by incredible hosts who showed us around the pool area and to our room. Our bags were put in our room for us with complimentary wine at the ready. |Each day our room was impeccably cleaned and tidied while we were out, with new towels and flannels left each day. |Every morning we called down for breakfast and it was promptly brought to us, with special amendments made for a certain dietary requirement. Eating breakfast against the view of the Caldera felt like we were waking up in a dream every single day. |Oia gets all of the glory when it comes to reviews about views and places to visit, my partner and I believe that Imerovigli, where Irida is based, is so much better. Imerovigli is higher up than Oia, perfect views of the sunset and a lot quieter with less tourists. We were in walking distance of some absolutely beautiful restaurants with gorgeous food, close to shops and vehicles were close by to hire.|On a couple mornings we set our alarm for 6 am and would walk to the entrance of Irida and watch the sunrise on the other side of the island - just as breathtaking as watching the sun set.|We went on a boat trip and couldn’t believe how high up Irida really is, we were blown away and genuinely felt like we were staying in the most perfect location with the most perfect room.|I am a bit of a sun worshiper and would have loved to have had a sun lounger on the balcony or near the pool but the furniture available was comfortable for sitting and relaxing while looking at the breathtaking views.|Santorini and Irida now have a huge place in our heart and we will definitely be making a return in the...
