If you need a roomy, inexpensive, no frills srudio to stay in Santorini that is away from the bustle of the two big towns of Fira and Oia, this is the place. The studios are near a nice relaxing beach and many seaside restauranrs, bars, car and ATV rentals, souvenir shops, etc. They are open until very late (after midnight) and are very convenient and affordable. You can rent an umbrella on the beach for 10 euro the whole day and get it for free if you spend more than 25 or so euro at the corresponding restaurant.||At night the beachfront is beautiful with live music at many of the restaurants. Its a great option for those who seek a stress-free vacation.||There are public buses that go to Fira from the town square (a beautiful Orrthodox church) every 25 minutes for 2.50 euro. From Fira you can go anywhere on the island including Oia (must-see town especially at sunset). ||Jera, the nice young lady who took care of us, was outstanding. She waited until we arrived (2345), gave great suggestions, and made the stay very pleasant.||My only critique is about the airport transportation. When we arrived at 2230, there were no taxis at the airport and a very long line. We waited 30 minutes outside with two tired children. Then, the taxi fare was 35 euro - 30 the flat fee to Perissa, 5 for the airport. Dont be fooled by the proximity of Perissa to the airport as you see it on a map...there is a huge mountain that the taxi must circumvent. It took another 35 minutes to get to Halaris.||The transfer from Halaris to the airport was terrible. Halaris uses "Discover Travel." Terrible company. They should work with soneobe else. We thought they had ordered a taxi. What arrived 30 minutes late to pick us up was a van with another group if people who were going to Red Beach. They were angry that the van detoured to pick us up. We were shocked that we were going to have to go to the opposite side of the island before going to the airport. The other group was angry because they were 45 minutes late for a boat tour that they had already paid for. Nobody was happy. ||We arrived at the airport extremely late. I was fully expecting to miss the flight and was making sure the driver's supervisor knew it. ||We were lucky in this case that the flight was 2 hours late....||Lesson - if you are going to Perissa, plan your airport transfer. Call a taxi beforehand, take the public bus to Fira and then the other bus to Perissa, or rent a car. DO NOT use Discover Travel or let Halaris book with them. You may not make...

We walked into the room at 1 AM After a long voyage to the hotel from athens. The room was wrong he gave us a one bed room. when we had three. after kicking us out onto the street. we tripled checked to make sure we had the right place and sure enough we did. Email was confirmed and everything. This dude was just ripping cigs and gave us no help. I seriously was about to lose it. He called the owner of the hotel who said ya we did have a reservation. He brought us to a room and it was disgusting. Had cockroaches the second we opened the door. Then he said ok here is your room goodnight.
My friends and I slept on the beach that night.
Left so early in the morning. No refund was given and we went somewhere else even though we had four days left on the stay. I would never recommend this hotel. In fact this place was a 3 star hotel back in 2018. Now its 2 lol. It...

As we had problem with air conditioner at first studio (that is very common situation in Greece that AC blows cold air straight to the bed which is not good at all) so she changed our studio to another one (bit better regarding AC) and moved all our staff by herself. Well, Studio Halaris is a budget accommodation so ... don't expect too much, but it could be much, much more better if the owner will be willing to put some extra money therer. It is very close to the Church, and last or first bus station in Perrisa which I found as very, very usefull. Close to the beach (say 150m, beach is very long, nice with black sand), very good Girros just opposite of the Church. Santorini is one and only so ... don't miss to visit it.
