Posada Don Pedro — Hotel in Panajachel

So when we arrived at Panajachel after hours of bus. Came up two guys told us that they was a cheap hostel that only costed Q35 per person with the shared bathroom. We were interested so we went with them. They brought us to a hostel that name Don Pedro o Posada Don Pedro, but there was only one room left that had private bathroom and TV. So they costed us Q10 more for two of us. But it was still cheap, so we were okay. After they took our money(Q80), arrived the staff who was actually worked for the hotel, told us that the money we paid can only used the shared bathroom. So he first put a chair in front of our bathroom, then he thought it was too silly, so he locked the bathroom in our room, and he took our TV out from the room, cuz the money we paid was not enough to use the TV, that was in our room. It started to get ridiculous as we already paid more then we was told, and the staff was so picky on small things. However, we were tired so we did not switch the hostel. Also we did not think they would refund us the money. The ridiculous was not ended here. When we went out for dinner, we found a lost backpacker from Germen. We brought him to the hostel. He was traveling with his amaca and often asked hostels if he can put his amaca and slept there for free or cheaper price. Of course this hostel would not let him stay free, they charged him Q25 for sleeping in the common space with his amaca. A canadian girl came out and said that she already paid for the room(Q45) and there were two beds, and she was willing to let him sleeping inside. The hotel staff said no no, if he was gonna sleep inside the room, he had to pay Q35. The girl said why, I already paid for the room with two beds, what is the different that I put one more person in. In fact, you told me that the room was Q70 for two ppl, so even if he had to pay, he should only pay Q25 the difference. The staff said no the room price was Q80 not Q70. Once again, the price was higher then what we were told before. The room of that Canadian girl only had two bed, no bathroom, not any other things, so I did not understand why it had to be more expensive. Anyway, the staff refused to let him stay inside if he only paid Q25. The german guy put his bags inside the canadian girl's room and slept outside. However, around 6am to 7am the next day, I was awake but the voice of the staff that said the Canadian girl checked out, and they had to clean the room, move your things out from the room, said to the german guy. It was ridiculous. Although the Canandian girl paid until the check out time, which was 11am, the german guy was not allowed to put his stuff until then. The poor guy didnt go to sleep after that. Then we went out for a little tourism and back around 12pm (of course we checked out before in case they charged us!) The german guy asked if he could charge his phone a little bit, the other staff (the senora) said that no, you can't cuz the electricity is expensive, if you want to charge you phone, you have to pay for another night. Literately said like that. Not even in a very friendly way. I have had traveled many places and stayed in coachsurfing, hostels, hotels. However, I have never visited a place this bad service and bad manner. I took time to write this review to hope that other travelers would not...
