I made sure to check the review score before entering but I foolishly didn't notice that most of them were written by reviewers who have only one to three reviews in their profile and a high proportion of them have Vietnamese sounding names (a red flashing light).

The vegan pho lacked key ingredients such as ginger, basil leaves, mint, cinammon, star anise, fennel seeds, coconut cream or in short anything that would qualify it as an authentic pho.

There was 1/4 of a lemon and superb fiesty red chilli but I would prefer there to have been half a lime instead.

Had I been given this soup that masqueraded as a pho not knowing it came from a Vietnamese restaurant I would think it was a Hungarian vegetable soup typically sold for 600 HUF in cheap self service canteens.

The amount of onion was tiny (literally three slivers almost non-detectable to the eyes), the carrots, broccoli and cauliflower lacked the "punch" of freshly cut vegetables - I suspect they were pre cut frozen vegetables that are sold in bulk to restaurants because they all looked too neat and the florets of cauliflower and broccoli too tiny which what happens as a result of freezing or prolonged refrigeration (because the majority of dishes are sold via delivery apps it is a common practice to save time on cutting vegetables by buying them ready to cook).

The small button mushrooms were also not the best quality though in fairness they probably were the only freshly cut vegetable besides the green onion.

Fried tofu and cabbage salad were adequate but it is not easy to ruin such simple dishes if one...

The restaurant is decorated beautifully and has more space in the cellar which also looked super cozy. The people working there are just super friendly and speak English very well. You can ask any questions and we had very nice chats with the staff! And the food is just perfect. We went here nearly every morning for our trip to Budapest and let me tell you the phô and summer rolls and the Vietnamese coffee are perfect. It keeps you full throughout a long day and just warms your heart. I already miss it so much... They make everything fresh and you can out it some spices to you liking. I can recommend the special phô and the regular phô bo. But my mother in law also tried the vegan variant and also loved it. Plus the prices are super reasonable. So if you want fresh and filling food and are looking for some good options you've come to the right place. And we'll definitely come...

I've been craving a pho during my trip and as a vegetarian, this may actually prove challenging. In one of the places where I've been before I wanted to order a pho with tofu but then found out the broth wasn't vegetarian. However here the vegetarian options were clearly marked in the menu and the food didn't disappoint. I ordered the summer rolls with tofu and vegetarian pho. Summer rolls were nice and the mint inside of them gave a nice freshness to it. Pho was also delicious and although it's not so common they put some veggies into it like broccoli and carrot together with the tofu which was great. One of the best parts was the service as well, the waitress was extremely kind and didn't forget to ask if I enjoyed my meal or if I needed anything. The place itself was clean and so were the tables. Overall it...

Amazing food and incredible service! I've been to lots of Vietnamese restaurants and this is the best one by far! 😁😋

Pho St blew me away — hands down the best, most original Vietnamese food I’ve tasted in a really long time! Every bite was packed with authentic flavors, and you can tell the chef is cooking with real passion (honestly, give this chef a Michelin star already 🏆🍜). It’s a cozy little small business, and that makes it even more special. The vibe is super welcoming, the staff are incredibly friendly, and they make you feel like part of the family the moment you walk in. I was also impressed by how many vegetarian options they offer — it’s rare to see so much love put into every dish, meat or veggie. If you’re in town, this place is an absolute must-visit. Bring your appetite, bring your friends, and be ready to fall in love with Vietnamese food all over again.
