Brunch Bistro Budapest — Restaurant in Budapest

After a short wait, more tables were freed up, however we were not led to another table either, the staff walked past us very closely and many times and looked us over. We finally got a table. After 15 minutes we got the menu as well…. I attached a picture of the menu, our table was also dirty and sticky. I asked the not very enthusiastic and only female staff member to be kind enough to take our order, and she started in our direction, then picked up a plate on the way and disappeared. It was very difficult for us to place the order, which arrived after 15 minutes, so we had been at the place for a total of 40 minutes and still hadn't eaten. The food was not outstanding, the portion was below average, the service was very poor. Hopefully, the management will take the situation seriously and make changes to make the place better. In the meantime, I recommend the other breakfast places in the area...

Their raspberry croissant was the best thing we had there, and it was really good; full of delicious sauce. The bailey's latte was tasty, but you can never go wrong with bailey's 😉 and their staff was patient and helpful when I asked questions about the menu. Of which there were many, since the prices online were different to the ones on-site, and the physical menu was a small book of 30+ pages; a little disorienting. The most disappointing thing was the bagel, which looked absolutely full of deliciousness in the menu, but sadly was lacking in flavor and freshness. To add here, the bread seemed a bit stale and should have maybe been toasted more. A slightly irrelevant point is that their chairs...

We had breakfast here and honestly, wow, everything was absolutely perfect. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was cozy and welcoming, and the staff were super friendly and attentive without being overbearing.

Now for the food: SO GOOD. Every bite felt like comfort and quality combined. The eggs were perfectly cooked, the pastries were fresh and flaky, and the coffee? Chef’s kiss smooth, rich, and strong in the best way. You can tell they really care about what they serve, because every plate came out looking beautiful and tasted even better.

We left full, happy, and already planning to come back. If you’re in the area and love a good brunch, do not skip this place....
