Opal Apartments — Hotel in Reykjavik

First time in Reykjavik but very frequent traveler with high standards.||||Support in answering questions by email in advance of the trip was instant and all questions answered thoroughly (by Youssef). Always able to reach someone by phone whilst staying also.||||Very good location just minutes from central area and close to a new food court with wonderful, eclectic food and drink offerings.||||Modern, clean and fully equipped. Comfortable beds and everything you could need to cook, also a Nespresso machine. Security good and safe parking at no additional cost appreciated,||||I highly recommend Opal Premium Apartment and have to say it exceeded my expectation.||||One small point of feedback for managers - please proactively provide new key safe code when the month changes and the code changes. SLightly annoying to waste time on departure trying to open the key box to then call and be told the code has changed. Very minor...

Stayed here for a 3 night break to celebrate my daughters upcoming 18th birthday. Dont be out off by the outside of the property as inside it is immaculate. We had a 2 bedroom apartment for myself my husband and our 2 teenage daughters. The open plan lounge dining area was spacious and the kitchen was extremely well presented modern and functional. The coffee machine was a lovely addition. Also large flat screen TV with UK channels and Wifi worked well.Large family bathroom with modern walk in shower. There was also a utility room with washing machine sink etc. We didnt drive so made no use of the car park but was really conveniently located for the excursion pick ups with bus stop 10 just 3 mins down the road. There are supermarkets near by and great bars around llemur square. Thoroughly enjoyed...

really bad place I ever been, hair dryer completely fills with dust, when I turn on, it blow the dust away and got sth burning. then I clean up the filter for them but end up they said I broke the dryer that made me so upset and they required you to clean up the apartment like when you check in. they said this terms in T&C but I don't think anybody will read the few pages T&C. end up they charged me 200 Euro. I really upset with them as we stayed in Rey apartment and check out with same condition but rey doesn't have problem when we check out. Anyway, this apt is evil place, don't go there. Rey is cheaper, better location, better conditions. Still so...
