Was here for a two week stay, centrally located, accessible to most of the hotspots in the city.||Will first go with the pros :- ||||1) The property deserves my 5 star because of the hard working staff starting from the entrance security staff who never missed a smile on their face and a namaste each and every time, rain or shine, really lights up ones mood.||||2)Front desk staff- Lannya and Naaz were really cordial and professional, always helped me with my queries and solved all my issues be it safe not working, out of water, housekeeping aid, early check-in, first aid - as I fell ill last few days, Naaz came down personally to check on me that was really sweet of her. Chirag from booking who accepted my change in travel dates and accommodated new dates without too much hassle.||||3) Location of the property is on spot, close to shopping districts, restaurants, movies, metro is accessible too, of course with Uber and Ola ride hailing app anytime on the go.||||4) Safe too, as I was a solo female traveler and this being my first solo trip, felt very safe in the property- location wise and within the premises too.||||5) Housekeeping is spot on again, they keep the rooms fresh after a tired day back at the hotel you would find all essentials refilled and room sparkling clean.||||6) With all the above favorable experiences I would not hesitate to give the property a 5 star in spite of some not so good experiences as I mention below because its the hard working lot who deserve the best rating and not ruin their effort because of some one - off bad experiences.||||Cons :- ||||1) Being a solo traveler for the first time, would not get housekeeping done a few days mostly alternate with the safe not working and leaving my stuff behind in the room dint feel ok so had a DND board, but got a feeling of being reprimanded for not getting housekeeping done for the day- like its some kids homework of sorts that today I did not get my housekeeping done so I am being called out, this is the first I have experienced in an Indian hotel for being called out for not getting housekeeping done that too aggressively, head of housekeeping who came to solve an issue also called out quite aggressively that I did not get my housekeeping done, new to this culture and seen only in India so was a bit taken aback. Mind you the safe was not working when I checked in also again in between my stay it stopped working. So please figure out how ones supposed to keep stuff safe while being out. ||||2) Being a solo female traveler, felt ignored at breakfast- though I just happened to eat for 2-3 days out of my 16 night stay, one Chai/coffee order took forever, no one was bothered except for a guy who I gave the order to again in order to be noticed. Had taken a corner table which the waitress never bother to mention some couple who wanted to occupy the same spot but dint miss a chance to tell me not to take a spot which was taken by someone else. Anyway had to go through this ordeal for 2 days as I did not have breakfast for the rest of the days seeing how crowded the place is.||||3) Worst of the experiences was me using up a soft drink in the mini bar and probably put it back in the place the next day either my own or the hotels, got some nasty comments from the staff "Oh you brought from outside and put it back"? Yes I did to save some 100-200 bucks out of my 10,000 per night stay of 16 nights paid in advance...Wonder how people would take the joke / nasty comment if its on them. Spent an hour on this to tell the staff I might have consumed yours or outside or put back yours or outside, - if I have brought stuff from out to put it back in the bar, please do tell me in an assertive way, not make a condescending joke about it, thank you. ||||4) Another unpleasant experience in the hallway was from a female staff who came up to me randomly and asked - How can I help you, out of no where, I responded that I am booking a cab to go out , to which she says Oh you are still staying at the property, I said yes and it did not stop there, she asked me what's your room number, I gave her my room number, felt intruder / trespasser of sorts, I have never had this experience anywhere in the entire world out of the hundreds of properties I have stayed, please train your staff to ask relevant questions, not interrogate, act like a detective, even if she feels I am a trespasser, please go check your systems, you have all my info- booking etc. In fact stayed at Marriott overseas for about 5 months continuous, not once got asked by the staff what are you doing here, what is your room number, seems really unprofessional if I look back.||||5) Lastly there are a few rickshaw cons outside the property, being an Indian I feel these guys stand there to rip you off wonder how the foreign tourists feel with these sorts of people, a min distance of 1.5- 2km which is usually a max of 60-80 Rs of fare, the con rickshaw drivers start with 150 Rs fare, this is solely with the intention of looting you, these guys are all around Bangalore no doubts but having them right outside the property is like encouraging people of these sorts to run their scam business, please identify these guys and get rid of them.||||I normally don't mention these one off bitter encounters in my reviews, but being a solo traveler, I felt the need to mention my experience, as I see not many reviews by female solo travelers on real time experience , with AI reviews, paid reviews and fake reviews doing the rounds, travelers need to know real experiences and of course the bad experiences should not ruin your stay or the efforts of the extremely hard working staff in the property. Would I go here again on a solo trip- most of the reviews on my profile would always end with a YES, but here I would say will MAYBE. ||Please be considerate to solo female travelers, specially Indian girls , I understand the first priority is for foreign guests, but please do treat us equally too. Thank you.||||One last salute to the security staff who never missed...
Read moreIt's wonderful to hear that you had a positive experience during your 4-night stay at the hotel while on business. The attentive and well-presented staff made a positive impression on you, which is always important in providing excellent customer service. The fact that the food was excellent and the room was comfortable adds to the overall satisfaction of your stay.
The presence of a gym and a terrace pool sounds like a great addition to the hotel's amenities, allowing you to relax and unwind during your free time. It's also great to know that the hotel's location was convenient for walking to various places, making it easier for you to explore the surroundings.
While it may not be considered a 5-star hotel on a global scale, it's commendable that the hotel still maintains good standards for India. It's important to consider local expectations and standards when assessing a hotel's quality.

Read moreI recently stayed at ITC in Bengaluru and had an exceptional experience. The hotel's luxury and elegance are evident from the moment you step into the grand lobby. My room was beautifully decorated, combining modern comforts with a touch of traditional Indian aesthetics. The staff I interacted with such as Kanishk at the front desk were incredibly hospitable and attentive, ensuring my every need was met promptly.
The dining options were outstanding, particularly the array of cuisines available at their various restaurants. The breakfast buffet was a delightful start to each day, offering a wide selection of delicious and fresh options. The hotel's amenities, including the spa and fitness center, were top-notch and added to the overall relaxing stay.
The location is also very convenient, situated close to many of the city's major attractions and business districts. ITC Gardenia truly exemplifies luxury and impeccable service, making it a perfect choice for both business and leisure travelers. I highly recommend it to anyone...
