jüSTa MG Road, Bangalore — Hotel in Bengaluru

We were so looking forward to stay at this hotel. We'd booked a room on 30th Sep through MMT for a 'Non-refundable status' as we were very certain about the plan a week before. Unfortunately, the Kauvery Bandh & the tension between the states could not make our Holiday happen in Karnataka (Chikkamagalur on 26th - To Mysore - To Bengaluru on 30th). The bandh was declared just one day before due to which we called up the hotel to help us cancel or reschedule our booking. The Manager mentioned that the bandh is applicable only on 26th due to which he can't refund for the booking that is made on 30th Sep. I did inform him that there's another bandh on 29th Sep which he denied without doing a fact check. Since we were traveling by road for 4 days, we requested him to consider the request of either refunding or help us reschedule our booking. But, the Manager Melvin was just so stubborn & non-courteous. Instead of empathizing, he recommended to somehow make it on 30th Sep as he can't do anything about it.

Since, I was a prominent Hospitality professional, I do know that such unforeseen circumstances do arrive & it's upto the hotel how well they handle it to retain customers.

We were bluntly denied & due to this, we could not stay at this hotel. However, I do not regret about it. It's fine that we lost our money but the hotel also lost a valuable customer.

I often visit Blr. Thought that I found a right hotel to stay all the time in Blr as it is at the centre of the city & I really loved the pics. But, this behavior is not appreciated & I would not like to stay at this hotel. Also, I would not recommend anyone to book this hotel as their Management is quite arrogant & not worth to experience further hospitality...

I stayed in this hotel on December 2022 for two nights on Christmas day with one of my girlfriends. Unfortunately, the hotel was not able to accommodate our twin bed request, but they assigned a non-smoking room for us. Check-in was swift and all the staffs are helpful. During the stay, we requested multiple items like hair dryer, iron , ironing board and safety locker. The staff delivered each item without any hesitation and I am unsure about the guy's name but he is North Eastern and bold. He was indeed a gem. However, the room does not include a 24/7 hot water supply, hence, if you are a person who loves to shower at random hours like me, may find it a little uncomfortable. Our stay was short but we still wanted to have a road trip to Mysore and the FO person by the name Saravanan arrange the day-tour for us. It was easy, reasonable priced and we got a good driver. The hotel is just 2 minutes walk away from Trinity Metro Train station, close by to a coffee place, pizza hut and 10 minutes to Garuda Mall. Overall, its a good stay and I won't think twice to stay...
