Hotel Raunak — Hotel in Kolkata

Not good at all. I stayed in room no 16. Worst room with a non working TV. The room was full of cockroaches and insects which Come out in the dark and disappears as soon as you switch on the light. As bonus we got bugs bites. There was a chimney exhaust of a "fast food corner" just out side of the window which some times blows spicy air. When we complained the manager he was in silent mode as if he did not hear anything. The floor was sticky. Perhaps they have not wiped it since it started functioning. The roof was spotted with water mark. So think before you check in. Attached are the photos of room no 16.The walls of the room are spotted with dirt.Nothing to say about the toilet. Hotel Raunak is one of the most disgusting hotel in kolkata. Especially those staffs and manager don't have a basic ethic to talk to any guest. I m so shameful to tell all these but then this hotel doesn't deserve one star also but then there is no option, I would love to give this hotel a big zero. Maybe the management is good but then who cares and who will come if they do not respect the guests. They don't know how to talk with people, they just show their arrogance that's all. I had booked 2 rooms and I had to extend my stay for the evening for 1 room. But I had to face a very horrific situation with the receptionist in Hotel Raunak . We had already discussed for the extension and suddenly around 8:30 I get a call for check out . The receptionist very rude impolitely tells to check out any how at 9 am . The situation could be handled in a better way .We customers come back to same place not for our convenience but for the customer services and the hospitality provided to us by the host . If these things are not handled and if the person does know how to behave with the woman I think the management has to think before keeping...
