Send your employee named Yustina to Kempinski, if you don't have money send her to Konko Hostel!
No hospitality at heart.
This bad experience I encounter back when I was staying for some days which the payments I already paid via OTA platform in full. The receptionist denied me and my wife entry because we couldn't provide the physical cash to deposit, we were more than willing to do the deposit we just frankly and unfortunately runs out of the physical payment which we didn't hold much anymore since the qr payment were mainstream. We didn't demand to just do our choice but at the very least the option should be there. The receptionist were not much helpful either, no empathy whatsoever to only just deny and refuse with cold face. Just the message "Didn't care, not my problem" is conveyed through the action of the receptionist which I later found out called Yustina. The trip we just did from far away cities takes much almost 12 hours train ride with all the hassle plus navigating the transport in this city also the walks, again no sympathy whatsoever. You know what, she make my wife walk again another mile or so to get this physical payment and because the delay it caused I need to check this work thing on my laptop the receptionist just straight up refuse to give me access prior to checkin, in which I positively will stay in this accomodation for the next few days. Such bizzare hospitality experience. This may not be her fault since she might just followed instruction and established SOP here. The problem might be the SOPs that not take the hospitality at heart from the start. There's chance to be an area to improve in this case on this accommodation. Retrain the staff, atleast have standard. Try to consider hospitality as part of the service if not the most first thing to consider in this industry. This is my dire warning to everyone who considering to stay here, I have this bad experience and I hope they improve in the future.
Room and access to cafe/canteen was decent, just as advertised which is expected. The human part of this service is the one should...
Read moreAmazing Experience! This place will definitely be a favorite in Jakarta. The location is super convenient—only 5 minutes' walk to Grand Indonesia, Plaza Indonesia, Bundaran HI, and more. Even though it’s affordable, it doesn’t feel cheap at all. It looks new, with unique and cozy interiors. The hostel has three floors, and from the outside, it just looks like a regular food stall. So it's giving Hidden Gem, haha.
They provide everything you need: toiletries, drinking water, and even slippers. Security is great because the entrance to the lodging area uses a passcode. There are lots of affordable food options nearby, and they also have self-service laundry for only 40k per wash (up to 7 kg!). The staff are very helpful, and the rooms are well-equipped with a big fridge, TV, and air conditioning.
Things to keep in mind: Some rooms don’t have private bathrooms, so you might have to share one. You can only book through apps (I used Tiket.com). There’s no elevator.
Overall, it’s a fantastic choice if you want an affordable yet high-quality place to...
Read moreI chose your hotel specifically because of the advertised early check-in option. However, upon my arrival at 12 PM, I was informed by the receptionist that check-in would not be available until 3 PM, which was disappointing.
To make matters worse, my stay in Room 107 was far from pleasant. The bathroom had visible mold and an unpleasant odor, making it uncomfortable to use. Additionally, the room's proximity to the staircase meant I was constantly disturbed by noise throughout the night, significantly affecting my ability to sleep.
The following day, around 1000am,I was disturbed by a loud knocking sound, likely due to ongoing hotel construction. This only worsened the situation, as I had barely slept the previous night due to the noise from the staircase. Additionally, I was disappointed to learn that luggage storage was not allowed after check-out.
Given these numerous issues, I am extremely dissatisfied with my stay and will not be returning to your hotel. I strongly advise others to consider alternative accommodations...
