Joe & Dough — Restaurant in Jakarta

I was here the 3rd time, and today at 2:45 to 3:00 is busy and almost full , however this was not a very nice atmosphere that I have experienced today. Since I still so near to bar counter, due to busy this 2 barista was really inpatient, understand there is many order , I can count merely 10-15 drinks w 2 of them, all the service staffs was running around not to say they are standing around. The most uncomfortable part is they keep hit at the bell many times continuously and w anger.. just because the service staffs may late to pick up the drinks , 2 to handle 10 drinks or so .. is this difficult ? And when the order is slow , can 1 of them help to deliver the drinks ? NO they just wait for the service staffs as delivering drinks is not their job … then come to 3 pm changing of shift the other barista alone handle most of the drinks by himself w no anger mood and very calm … I just want to bring this up to the mgmt as your store is located at plaza Indonesia .. and since the counter is expose beside the walk way .. can they carry out their job more graceful ? There is CCTV where the mgmt can access look through the cctv , I do have the photo of the 2 different set of barista , but I decided not to post up here .. I wish the mgmt could do something about this situation , after all you have good...

My family and I visited this café in the mall and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. When we first arrived, we were ready to order directly at the cashier after looking at the cake display. However, a female employee told us not to rush and to just sit at a table, assuring us that they would bring the menu over.

We thought that was a nice gesture, but after we sat down, no one brought us a menu at all. The same employee, along with the others, spent their time chatting and gossiping behind the counter instead of paying attention to customers. We kept looking over, waiting to be acknowledged, but we were completely ignored.

In the end, we left without ordering and went to another establishment instead. It was frustrating because we came ready to order and could have been served quickly, but the lack of attention and professionalism ruined...

I really like this place, from the decor, atmosphere, service, coffee minus the food that I tried today. My piccolo was great, full bodied, full of flavour. Creama and temperature was perfect too. I was here waiting for friend, and feeling something to nibble, so I decided to order something light. Emping Nacho was great, this dish consists of Emping chips, melted cheese, black olives, roasted corn, sweet relish, onions with tartar sauce and fresh salsa. If I may give my opinions, what I feel that tartare sauce more like sour cream base not a mayonnaise based condiments, not enough dill/gherkin and zing from lemon zest. Also “fresh salsa” doesn’t look so fresh to me, it was pre made sometimes ago, and definitely not today beaded on my observation from salsa...
