Lovely accommodation, spotlessly clean, great customer service, very comfortable bed (very welcome after 22 days elsewhere in Bali with uncomfortable beds),. And for me the biggest highlight was the absence of artificial fragrances - the room smelled great, with none of those horrible, perfume-stinky, over-the-top things like linen (fragranced laundry detergent), air fresheners and perfumed bathroom products. Huge relief. Also, unlike quite a few accommodations, the bathroom window has flyscreen on it, which stops the mosquitoes getting in. Really grateful for that. The gardens are gorgeous. It's a bit of a walk to the centre of town, but it's close to lots of fantastic places to eat and shop. Important to note that quite a lot of accommodations, including Blima, are on narrow cobbled streets where cars don't fit. It's fantastic because it's quieter and they're nice to walk along, though fair to also say arriving and leaving with luggage is a bit of a hassle (especially in the rain!) No regrets staying here though, it's fantastic value for money, it definitely deserves its...
Read moreThis place can take a little finding as it is off the beaten track down one or two ally's. Then through a small gate and you wonder where you are going. But the building is quite new, the rooms well set out. Nice wall and floor tiles, clean and fresh. We had room no 1, It was a little small but for two days fine. Bed was very comfortable and fresh. The room was very short of storage space, only a wooden bench in the room,. Very small outdoor eating area. Says it has hair dryer, kitchenette, refrigerator, mini bar, kitchenware, desk, closet, clothes dryer, ironing facility, none of these items were in our room. So maybe a mix up with the larger rooms? On the positive side, the place was immaculate, well above standard on cleanliness. Breakfast was a decent omelette and large bowl of fresh fruit. They were also very helpful in organising some printing for us. We found out later that they went up to Ubud to have it printed and refused to take any payment. Nice...
Read moreI stayed here for 4 days in May 2023.
Hotel Ambience: the rooms are big and maintained well. The owner and their family are nice people who arranged transport for me when required.
The owner even helped to pick me up around 1 AM from the airport in Denspar to their hotel in Ubud and was a warm person to talk to.
Location: It is in a central location , very close to monkey forest and the market and performances
Only drawback was there was not enough streetlights in the night and I remember being chased by a dog around 10 PM but luckily someone was around to help me.
The road leading to the hotel is narrow, I am not sure if one can park their car if they have it, check with the owner I am sure they can help.
Complimentary breakfast: they provided fresh fruits, bread and omelette every morning which tasted good.
I wanted to give 4.5 for the rooms but google...
