We complete our first month in Ubud, and this guesthouse is our third lodging. Compared to other places we've stayed at with much higher ratings, this has been the most satisfying and enjoyable for us.
The staff are extremely polite, clean, professional, and friendly. They truly clean your room spotlessly every day. The location is very central and close to everything, yet we experienced no issues with noise. Despite being light sleepers, the beds were so comfortable that we slept like babies. The breakfast was quite satisfying and very tasty. Additionally, you can use the rooftop of the hostel next door for work and socializing; tea and coffee are unlimited and free.
We also used their laundry service and were very pleased with it. Laundry is normally delivered the day after drop-off and sometimes two days later, which is standard. You get your clothes back packaged, clean, and even ironed and folded. We had no complaints or negative thoughts; they truly exceeded the promise for the price.
We are very satisfied and recommend this place to anyone looking for an affordable, clean, and comfortable spot to explore the area. Thank you...
Read moreThe room we stayed in was a tad too small for comfort, the bathroom wouldn't lock properly, and no hand soap was provided. Yet, the beds were comfy, the air conditioning took a while to cool but was steady throughout and clean towels were provided. The location is ideal and really convenient - bang in the middle of all the action at Ubud, and a 5 minute walk away from Ubud Palace, not to mention countless restaurants and the shopping market. Breakfast was great, with banana pancakes, coffee/tea and fresh fruits. The staff had a bit of a language problem but made up for it with a friendly and helpful attitude. We also managed to get our day tours in Ubud arranged through this home stay at good prices. All in all, it was well suited to our two-day short stay, most of which we were...
Read moreWe only stayed a couple of days here. Its in a nice quiet location in the rice fields near some really excellent restaurants. You have to walk for about 10 mins to get to them though as there is no car access but this is actually a lovely walk. The staff help move your luggage so its really not a problem. We stayed in 2 downstairs rooms. These had lovely doors [ did have an tendency to get stuck though] These are big and comfortable. Breakfast were basic but fine. What makes this place is the staff. They are all so helpful . They let us keep our room on after checkout time and went out there way to help with any thing we needed. They also have a really cool dog called Andrew . Its a nice place to...
