Taman Amartha Hotel, Ubud — Hotel in Pulau Bali

Amazing boutique hotel!

The hotel has 14 rooms, maybe 4 family room (one of which I stayed in). For a boutique hotel, they have very full amenities. The room was clean and the best is big. My room faced the back pool with a river sound, it was heaven! Felt like it was a private pool because its outside our door.

The bathroom is very big & sectioned well. They also provide bathrobe and tv. All the facilities are well maintained. Very family friendly. 1 km to the ubud main road, so its still quite yet near the main tourist spots.

The staff, Sri, she is very kind and loves to smile. Her shift is very long tho, she's always there when checking in at 6pm, asked for a motorcycle rent at 8pm, and yoga mat request at 6.30am the next day. Amazing work ethic. She makes my stay here very warm and welcoming.

I recommend their omelette breakfast. They serve a full course breakfast, the portion is enough. The food was made fast. I do think you should go here by motorcycle, as the hotel is placed in a one way road. There are a lot of famous places near the hotel, so there's a lot of activities you can find around.

I will definitely come back!...

Very well maintained. Very nice room. Serene and relaxing place. Staff was very accommodating and polite.

The area is located nor so far from the heart of Ubud. The rooms are inside a compound which helps isolate the noise coming from vehicles and motorcycles passing by.

Immediately upon entering, staff offered us refreshments and a cool towel to calm and relax our burned faces. :D

The rooms were big! The bed was huge. The comfort room is really big too - you could fit in a single bed :) the shower is really nice - the interior and the lights looked elegant. The room has a refrigerator, free bottled water, tea and coffee sachet.

The place has two swimming pools. One at the front of the restaurant and another at the back, overlooking a jungle. On the pool bed, it has towels for anyone who would take a dip. At night, the pools are lighted so you can enjoy a cool night swim.

The area and the pool, as well as the rooms are well maintained. The breakfast was really great! Fruits served taste delicious. We got to try their coffee.

Overall, this is a a-must-go place...

The hotel was okay, had 2 great swimming pools and the rooms were nice. The hotel was also located in a quiet, beautiful street. The wifi wasn't great, but doable. Breakfast was okay, the on the go breakfast during trips was not. The biggest dissapointment was the service desk. We would recommend NOT to book any tour trips with them. We booked a tour at the desk with them through UMK to nusa penida. The whole trip was terrible. From the pick up at the hotel, to the transport in a tiny harbour where no one could speak English, to the tour itself. Also with a guide that didn't speak English and drove extremely dangerously. We got minimum time at each beach viewpoint and spend almost the whole day in a bumpy car. The following day, we also had a pick up booked to take us to the Padang Bai harbour to catch our boat to Gili. The driver was almost an hour late and we didn't get much explanation from either the hotel or the driver. Both experiences were...
