We spent our last evening in Ubud at this wonderful restaurant, and it was truly the perfect place to end our trip. The staff was incredibly friendly, and our server, Asih, provided excellent service. She noticed that we were a bit overwhelmed by the many choices on the menu, so she brought out tablets with pictures of the dishes, making it much easier for us to decide.
We started with the garlic bread, which was honestly the best I've ever had. For the main course, we enjoyed a delicious Wagyu steak and a crispy chicken burger—both were perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. For dessert, we had the tiramisu and lemon tart, which were the ideal sweet ending to our meal. We capped off the evening with an Amaretto Sour and a Peach Gletser—both drinks were delightful.
The ambiance of the restaurant was perfect, with chill music and an amazing view. The staff even provided mosquito repellent spray, which worked perfectly and smelled lovely. We couldn’t have asked for a better last dinner in Ubud. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a memorable...
Read moreWe visited Tuju Tropical Club two days ago and it was a fantastic experience! The venue is stunning, with a beautiful swimming pool that our kids loved. Since it is the off-season, we were the only guests, which made the atmosphere very relaxing.
The food was great—everything we ordered was beautifully presented and tasted delicious. Showers were available for use, which was super convenient. The DJ played excellent music, adding to the vibe of the place.
We did notice, however, that some things have changed since earlier reviews. While older reviews mentioned there was no minimum spend, there is now a 350k IDR minimum spend per person (kids are free). Additionally, towels come at an extra charge (35k IDR), so keep that in mind.
Despite these changes, the experience was still worth it. What stood out most was the staff—they were incredibly friendly and attentive. Overall, a wonderful spot for families and highly recommended if you...
Read moreTuju is a beautiful day club with exceptional service - the staff were the friendliest we met in all of Ubud. Thank you especially to Geng De for looking after us - we couldn't have asked for any more, and he even offered to take photos of us together a few times through the day/evening. We arrived late afternoon and soon found a day bed - that was free and there was no minimum spend. We rented towels for 30K each. A beer was 60K and cocktails were 130-190K. The place itself is stunning. There was a DJ on from when we arrived until around 7pm, playing house/reggaeton. It wasn't particularly busy at any point and especially after sunset we were one of the last people there - we left around 8-9ish. We shared a pizza which was evidently prepared from scratched and cooked in a proper pizza oven - it was better than we were expecting! A beautiful retreat close to the centre of...
