We simply love Juice Ja, and have had a love affair with this cafe and the staff for many years, probably for the past 15 years.. what we love is their consistent quality and service, their food remains fresh, nourishing, great menu options, all day breakfasts and they mean it !! They keep their popular dishes on the menu, so when we return we love the guacamole with corn chips, the chicken or tuna steak with homemade pesto, delicious mini potatos and best cooked spinach we have ever had in Bali. Now they also offer fresh juice for detox or health programmes, they have all the packages, recommendations etc, delivered to your villa or pick up. We also commend them on keeping their pricing affordable compared to other places in Ubud that seem to go up and up in price and out pricing travellers that are here for some time or need to be mindful of budget, families etc. Servings are generous, while still keeping plate design and food presentation high. Ibu Rika and her staff are such awesome hosts and they also have great health food items for purchase, a good range, including local favourite products that we don't seem to find in other cafes or shops. The cafe area is small and quaint has a great feel though, and you can people gaze as they walk along jalan suweta. great location walking distance from jalan raya ubud etc A truly authentic...

I can’t say enough good things about this incredible restaurant. From the moment you walk in, there’s a cozy, welcoming vibe that immediately makes you feel at home. But the real magic starts with the food.
Everything is homemade — and I mean everything. You can truly taste the love and care that goes into each dish. What makes it even more special is that most of the ingredients are grown right in their own garden. The freshness is unreal. The vegetables are crisp, the herbs are fragrant, and the flavors are so pure and vibrant, it’s like tasting food the way it’s meant to be.
The menu is creative but comforting, with a real focus on seasonal ingredients. Every plate is beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. You can tell the chefs genuinely care about their craft and are passionate about what they do.
If you’re looking for a place that serves up amazing food with heart and soul, this is it. I’ll definitely be back —...
Read moreJuice Ja Café has been our favorite spot in Ubud since the Covid days, and it still feels special every time we come back. For me, it’s always the fried noodles with a sunny-side-up egg—the best noodles in Ubud, especially with extra chopped chili on the side for that perfect kick. For my partner, the chicken quesadillas are the absolute favorite—always flavorful and satisfying.
For drinks, we usually order the Seasons Treat Lassi or a fresh young coconut, both super refreshing and perfect for Bali’s weather.
The café itself is simple and cozy, located on Suweta Street, easy to find and convenient to stop by. What makes it even more special is the warmth of the people. The staff are always friendly, and the owner, Ibu Rika and her son, welcome everyone with genuine smiles that make you feel part of the family.
If you’re looking for delicious food, refreshing drinks, and a place that feels like home, Juice Ja Café is truly a hidden gem in Ubud that we can’t...
