Soul Kitchen — Restaurant in Bali

We ordered today 2 salads via Grab – unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience.

We asked about the dressing, as there was no information provided in the description. We were then told it was mayonnaise and sweet chili sauce – something we absolutely didn’t want.

We kindly requested a simple alternative like olive oil and lemon, which is normally provided free of charge and considered standard with a fresh salad. We just wanted it to be substituted for the mayo dressing. Instead, we were asked to pay an additional 18,000 IDR – and initially via bank transfer outside the Grab app (!). We insisted that the extra charge should be booked through Grab – which was eventually done.

For the 18,000 IDR extra, we received a single wedge of lemon and a bit of oil, which, frankly, feels almost insulting when other restaurants include that for free by default.

The food itself was also disappointing: – The beef salad had very little meat, and what was there was overcooked and dry. – The vegetable salad was just tomato, cucumber, and onion – without any dressing at all. – Overall, highly overpriced for what you actually get.

I was genuinely looking forward to a fresh, high-quality salad – but what we received fell far short of expectations.

Conclusion: Poor customer service, lack of transparency in the menu description, extra charges for basic things like a slice of lemon – and a meal that simply doesn’t deliver what it promises. Value for money: 1 star. Unfortunately, not...

I ordered a meal of Gojek, while it was expensive I didn't mind because I was looking for something nice to eat.

The food was the worst size servings that I have ever experienced. My milkshake was a half serving even though filled with ice/water and tasted horrible. The worst part is that it cost over 70,000 rupees. The pasta while it tasted very good was about a quarter serving. Seriously it was an absolute joke. It coat over 170,000 rupees and was about 5 mouth fulls. No restaurant would dear serve there customers like that in person, yet they obviously felt they could get away with it over Gojek.

I complained to Gojek and only recieved 10,000 compensation for over a 350000 rupee meal. At least the desert was good.

You can see the past is about 1cm high in the box in most places.
