This place is just amazing. It is 5min walk from the Main Street, but at the same time completely separated and secluded. No traffic noises and everything is close by, I walked everywhere. This guesthouse offers very good value for the money you pay. Breakfast is included (you can choose between omelet, eggs or pancakes and they serve them with fruits + coffee/tea) throughout the day the host Ella always asks if you like something to drink. I always had more coffee during the day, because i was working and it was very good. The garden has a nice pool and you can sunbathe there. Around the house there’s lot of nature, which I really enjoyed. They cleaned the room every day, brought new towels and made sure you have soap, toilet paper etc. The room has a huge bed! After my stay in Ubud with Ella all the other beds seem too small now. It was so comfortable, I had my best nights there. What I really liked is that they offer additional services like taxi rides, mt Batur hike etc. we bought mt Batur hike from Ella and she woke up in the middle of the night to make sure we were picked up. Prices for services are fair, I didnt even negotiate. I stayed there for over two weeks to work remotely and it felt like home. There were few days when wifi was not working for a few hours, but then i used my mobile hotspot (it’s pretty common in Ubud that wifi is not the same quality as in Canggu) I have to say for working it’s a great place: you have a comfortable table with chair in the room + in the terrace. When I go to Ubud again, i will stay with Ella again for sure. Thank you Ella for being so kind...
Read moreOur stay at Vinayaka was great. The room price was really good. We only had a short 1 night stay as a stop over before going to Munduk early the next day so this fit the bill. We arrived quite late but were welcomed warmly by the lady and her dog :-) Service was great and friendly. Breakfast was simple but tasted good. Like the choc banana pancakes! Room was clean and the bed was comfy. It's a little accommodation with only 4 rooms and a good sized swimming pool which sadly we didn't get the chance to use. The house was located inside very small alley with some ricefields when you walk outside so it's very quiet and car is possible to go in but walking is also doable. We didn't really get the chance to explore more of the surroundings but judging from the map it's quite close to town. ||||The only negative point: we didn't get the exact room we booked for. We booked a room with twin beds and asked for upstairs room, but we didn't get either of them. We were gonna ask about it but saw no point of it considering our late arrival and very short stay. But this was no biggie. ||||Would recommend this place for sure for...
Read moreWe found this place advised by the owner of a guesthouse we we stayed at but was fully booked for our dates ( Ubud is so lovely a place that we decided to stay longer than we had planned )and it was a really nice surprise! Our room was spacious and clean, the bed was extra-comfy, wi-fi connection was excellent. The guesthouse is at walking distance from Ubud’s main road, near to the market and to the monkey forest, yet tucked away in a quiet place in the rice fields. |There was a swimming pool right next to our room and breakfasts were delicious, with a choice of fresh tropical juices.|We had the facility of parking in the field nearby, which we appreciated having rented a car.|The owners were extra-extra kind and made us feel at home, the landlady is so nice and always smiling!|The room was not made everyday but that was not a problem with us as we could leave our things as they were without worrying to put everything into place when we were leaving in the morning!!|Note that there is a short slope to walk to get to the guesthouse , but the owners helped us carry...
