Ristorante Le Colonne — Restaurant in Como

We were initially unsure about dining here as the reviews are wildly inconsistent. I’m so glad we decided to give it a try. Service was phenomenal - everyone was attentive and kind - going out of their way to make sure that we were happy and had everything we needed.

This was one of the best meals and experiences we had on purpose two-week trip in Italy. To start we had the lasagna, meatballs, octopus salad and antipasto, all of which were delicious. Our toddler had the linguine and clam and loved it. We also had the seafood soup, perch, risotto and milanese - loved everything. We sat in the covered outside space which was bright and decorated for Christmas. Lots of families were there as well - great with kids, some people even had dogs.

One of the most amazing places I have had dinner! The food was delicious- we tried pizza, pasta and some of the desserts. The most memorable thing certainly was the service - waiters were very careful and tried to make everything perfect for us. We've had dinner there two nights last month and the second one it was raining very much so it was just the two of us as we were staying in the nearby hotel. We visited Pizzeria Le Colonne on a rainy afternoon in October. What a winderful find! The staff was very welcoming and friendly, and the fokd was fantastic. We had the mussels as a starter, and then a steak (for me) and the Carbonara (for my wife) and both were excellent. A bottle of red wine recommended by our waiter was the perfect complement. We finished with a shared tiramisu, which completed the afternoon.

In short, the enclosed patio was ideal, the food was excellent, and the service was friendly and efficient. I...
