The rooms were comfortable, modern and rather well equipped. I had higher expectations as I booked with the assumption of a hotel considering the price (~700 Euros for three nights) and the place was just the last floor of a 4 floor building. Everything was arranged to be done by self-service so when we needed help we had to write the owner who was quite helpful (we never saw anyone except for the cleaning lady). However during our three night stay we did not get the room cleaned and when we told the owner about this, the cleaning lady dropped by to take garbage and provide new towels during our afternoon rest time. The lift was also very tiny fitting only two adults which could be a hassle for more number of people or people with lots of luggage. Although the rooms were clean, the shower was full of mold spots. The breakfast was also outside at a cafe nearby for which we had to leave the building. We were offered three choices, sweet, salty and mix and based on that we could get croissant or small sandwiches with coffee and juice/water. It was good in general especially the croissants but after three days the choices become a bit boring. Considering the price we paid (comparable to a hotel's price) and the issues with service, I would like to give 3.5 stars but since it is not possible I give...
Read moreWe stayed here for 2 nights and had a wonderful experience. The location is perfect just a 3-minute walk from the train station, which was ideal since we were arriving from Venice. All the major landmarks are also within easy walking distance, around 13–15 minutes, and there are plenty of shops, restaurants, and cafés nearby.
Check-in and check-out were completely stress-free, and everything was well-organised. Our host, Daniele, was incredibly helpful and welcoming from the start. Daniele sent us a list of great local recommendations, including restaurants and gelato spots, with specific tips on what to try which we really appreciated!
The apartment was clean, comfortable, and budget-friendly, making it a perfect choice for anyone looking for a convenient and pleasant stay close to the heart of Florence, the train station, and even with easy access to the airport.
I highly recommend this place to fellow travelers and would happily...
Read moreWe stayed here for a couple of nights while visiting Florence and overall, it was good for the price. The location is spot on — really easy to get around from, and the staff who greeted us were super friendly and welcoming. The room itself was decent for what we paid.
A couple of little things though — the bedding was way too thick for the summer. It felt like something you’d have in the middle of an English winter, so sleeping was a bit of a struggle in the heat. Also, the bedding and towels smelt a bit overly disinfected — almost vinegary in a way, which wasn’t awful, but definitely noticeable.
That said, it’s not a five-star hotel and for the price we paid, it did the job. Would happily stay again if I was after a budget-friendly spot in a...
