Keith Haring's House — Hotel in Pisa

This review is about Keith Haring's House NOT the wonderful mural found near this rental apartment. Let's start with the positive feedback: The place is situated very near the Pisa Centrale train station making it very convenient for travelling. All amenities can be found near the rental apartment, be it restaurants, convenience stores, pharmacy etc. The place is a 20 minutes walk away from the Pisa cathedral complex, making it ideal for tourists. The place is airy and naturally lit. The space is adequate for a holiday, having all the basics required. The third floor apartment is served by a lift and it is situated in a quiet block of apartments.

Now, room for improvement: The place could have been cleaner, the sofabed is terribly stained, so much that we had to cover it with several layers for our daughter to be safe to sleep. One of the bathrooms had to be vacated as there was a serious clogging issue with the toilet and the shower drain. The water in the other bathroom's shower couldn't make its mind if it wanted to scald you or else freeze you - this without touching the mixer. The bed is as uncomfortable as it can be, creaking and moaning with every slight movement of the user. Some sort of water apparatus is located behind the boards of one of the bedrooms. This produces noises whenever the plumbing is used, making it very distracting for sleeping.

This is on my view a good combination of the modern art in the old Italian city, where almost everyone is obliged to make a picture holding the famous Pisa Tower The attractions are close to each other, so having a walk around is a nice thing to do after a journey to Pisa. Whatever options can live together on the issue of modern art famous creators, Keith Harding is for sure among them. So to me personally the possibility to see one of his last works (he passed away a year after this paining was made) is not only a great opportunity, but the feeling of amazing Italy, so beautiful, so emotional, so full of art and spiritual feelings.
