Honestly, this was one of the worst stays I’ve had. I was traveling with a group of students and while we were there, another large school group was extremely noisy (shouting in the corridors), disruptive and loud until very late at night (12:30-2am). When the hotel was told that they needed to intervene (my students needed to rest), barely anything was done, they simply asked the other teachers to talk to their students, nothing changed, they didn’t do anything else and the problem persisted for the 3 nights we stayed there.
Furthermore, the breakfast being included, they said they would prepare boxes for our last morning since we needed to leave early to take the plane. The morning of, the boxes weren’t ready, we had to wait 20 minutes, which belated us, made us miss our train and we still didn’t get the breakfast boxes because they wanted us to wait another 10 minutes for them.
Lastly, the hotel itself is of very mediocre quality. Doors don’t close properly so they need to be slammed (great for sleeping at night), the walls are paper thin, many baths didn’t have curtains and certain toilets were broken (they flushed eternally), the rooms in which we had 4 students were basically double occupation rooms, they were stacked like sardines on little camping beds.
Honestly, as a teacher, I’ve had to do many school trips and this was one of the worst hotels I stayed in regarding the management of disruptions as well as the...
Read moreOriginally was booked to stay at hotel Regio, upon arrival was told they were overbooked and could not stay there so was moved to hotel Lux which was apparently “better”. Very unprofessional to book guests in to stay at a hotel and then tell them they have to move somewhere else which is not was i booked/paid for! This hotel is in a good location and the service of the room being cleaned each day was good, however the good did not outweigh the bad! The rooms are very small, not a lot of space to keep bags and move around, no wifi in the rooms as you could not possibly get connection. Furniture is outdated and the only linen on the bed is a sheet to keep you warm at night. The biggest issue is the NOISE! If you’re looking to not go to sleep until midnight and to not sleep past 6:30 in the morning without being disturbed then this is the place for you. The walls/doors and other rooms are so thin and close together that you can hear every conversation from other guests, screaming, yelling and banging around every single night and morning. Other guests were very frustrated and were getting up at night to tell people to be quiet as there was no possible way to...
Read moreOn Google, it said 4 star hotel. With a 4 star hotel standard, one would assume there would be at least the minimal room amenities available, such as a kettle with some welcoming coffee and tea or basic water.
However, when we arrived, we were greeted by none of the above. We were greeted by a bathtub that had plumbing issues and a little water flood in the toilet.
The blanket was just a bed sheet. The Blankets in the cupboard were smelly and apparently unwashed.
Housekeeping was rude. We were in the room for a sleep in and the housekeeper used the master key to unlock the door without knocking. In this hotel, you leave your room key at the desk to show you're out and they will clean the room. Apparently not. They just barged in without checking.
After their clean, there is hair on the new towels and it was so unhygienic.
The night male staff was just busy smoking and did not respond to our requests.
4 star Hotel with terrible service. And may I add how horrible the morning breakfast is......
