I absolutely love this hotel. Highly recommend. It’s a historical 1923 building. You would think it’s not up to date. But it IS! The room, the shower, the AC, is PERFECT. The staff, the free breakfast even the cleaners are all wonderful. They have good options when it comes to morning breakfast. Free coffee no matter how many cappuccinos you want, you got it! I even love the fact there’s no way you can leave your room key in the room. The lights are controlled by your room key. It’s so smart. If you remove the key, the lights automatically turn off within 20 seconds. Upon returning to your room, put your key in the Slot and all the lights and AC turn on. Of course there’s light and AC switches. But it’s so cool. It’s not right in the middle of everything it’s sorta on the outside of things. iI’s 15-20 min walk to whatever you want to see. But, I enjoyed walking to all of my locations on my list. I got to window shop. See the different names and clothing that’s out there. I can’t complain, every 10min walk there’s free water. It’s nice and cold it’s so refreshing. This hotel was a last minute buy, I booked it right on the airplane. No issues the moment I arrived no extra charges. Just the €8 in taxes which no one can avoid. My price for two nights was €220. You can not go wrong! Super highly recommend for anyone staying around the area.

Lovely boutique hotel near Spagna metro station. The hotel is located in two floors of a residential building near the Main Street. The hotel is very close by shopping, restaurants, bus and metro stops. I reserved a junior suite and was upgraded -the room size is nice and airy for two with separate bathroom area and separate sitting area. Having said this, I looked into the rooms over our stay while housekeeping cleaned the floor and the other rooms are tiny. I could not manage in such a tiny space so be prepared if you reserve another option. The staff are very kind and welcoming. Roberta in the front desk was very sweet during our stay and when she checked me out. The breakfast area is cozy and clean. They will serve you fresh cappuccino, American coffee, etc fresh upon arrival in the morning.

All I can say is it must be family and friends writing these reviews as this place was terrible!! There is a fake shop front reception, with a door to the right which takes you into a derelict dusty building, with a piece of paper on the wall saying go to the 3rd floor. There is an old fashioned elevator which felt so unsafe. Then, they told us our room key wouldn’t open the door to our floor, so we had to go up to the reception on the 3rd floor everytime we returned to get someone to open the door to our floor. The whole thing was ridiculous. Rooms were tiny and old. Bed and pillows so uncomfortable. Breakfast was so bad we just walked out. We wanted to check out but we’re only there for 2 nights thankfully. Definitely would not recommend!! Gave it one star for the location.

What a wonderful experience for us to stay at The Manfredi. We arrived very tired and bleary from traveling from California to Rome with very little sleep. We were greeted warmly and comfortingly by Rino, who showed us to our room and who informed us of all the amenities including the wonderful lounge and breakfast room. This first contact with the staff was to be indicative of the great service we were to have during our four day stay and our wonderful Roman experience. The room, the food, the wine, the service were outstanding but it was also the neighborhood that fascinated us. Alessandro at the hotel provided us with fascinating information about the history and culture of the Via Margutta - where great films were made and great directors and authors such as Frederico Felinni and Truman Capote resided not far away from the Manfredi. We chose this hotel for its close proximity to Trevi Fountain and The Spanish Steps and we found so much more in this area. The Via Margutta is where shoppers and diners can congregate and and stroll and romance together. To us this hotel and this area will always be our memory of Rome. We caught up on our sleep and we toured Rome with passion for the next few days and our great room and comfortable bed were there waiting for us every time we returned. We slept like puppies as the room was so well insulated from the outside noise. The staff treated us like friends and gave us hints as to the best places to dine and where and the best times to visits the famous sites. Rome is huge city and can be overwhelming but residing at the Manfredi on the Via Margutta gave us a small, charming, friendly neighborhood in which to remember this...

It's not often you stay in a hotel where you can find little fault. We loved our time in Hotel Manfredi.

The hotel is based on the the third floor of the building with circular steps leading up to the reception. There is also a quaint old lift for those with mobility issues. The management staff at the hotel were very friendly and accommadating with a good grasp of the English language for those of us with little knowledge of Italian.

The room was very intalienesce as pictured on the website and was spotlessly clean. Not too big, but then big enough with adequate wardrobe space. Beds were very comfortable and unsuite bathroom was again spotless and spacious. Rooms were cleaned daily and towels changed when requested.

Breakfast was buffet style with a mixture of English/Continental providing a good choice of freshly cooked scrambled eggs, bacon, cereals, pastries, ham, etc. Breakfast staff were particularly lovely providing numerous offerings of fresh coffee or Cappuccino.

Location was excellent just 200mtrs from the Spanish steps and with loads of nice Restaraunts close by. La Spagna Metro was also close by, but we preferred to explore the sights by walking as most of the main sights, Colleseum, Vatican, Trevi Fountain were within a half hour walk.

Altogether a lovely holiday and I would have no problem recommending this...

Hotel Manfredi Suites was our home over the holidays this past Christmas. Located in the heart of the city and a breath away from the Spanish Steps, we couldn't have made a better decision for our first visit to Rome! The building itself is several hundred years old and historic (like most of the city) but the hotel emerges from within it as a great sanctuary with all the comforts and amenities we have come to expect from modern accommodations. Located on the 3rd and 4th floors (after an optional caged elevator ride!), each room is beautifully decorated and uniquely adorned. Our girls had a cosy corner room to themselves while we happened to be close by but both rooms boasted large beds, modern bathrooms, and in our case - a specialty shower/spa with 16 multi-head shower settings! Breakfast was elegant and the service at the front desk was impeccable. I can't thank the hotel staff enough for the dinner recommendations we received and for arranging champagne and chocolates for my wife and I on our 25th anniversary! For a location so close to one of the heaviest tourist areas in Rome, the street the hotel is on is remarkably quiet and peaceful with minimal foot traffic even during the day. Great restaurants and shopping nearby with all major attractions easily walkable. All-in-all a very pleasant and relaxing experience and highly...
