With this hotel you get what you pay for so don’t expect 5 star luxury - whatever that looks like. But the location IS 5 star and i would pay more simply for that and that alone. It’s so central to everything. From here you can get to the Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps within 15 minutes, In the other direction you can reach The Colosseum. Hop on the metro which is cheap as chips and travel all day long for a few quid. I got to the Vatican and St Peters in around 30 mins or less. You can also hop on a bus tour which is around €20 and you also get free WiFi whilst on board the bus, massive bonus. Stay on for as long as you like. ||Back to the hotel, it’s tucked down a little side street and not obvious from the outside but that’s not an issue. It’s basic but has everything you need. And let’s be frank, there is so much to see and do that you’re never there. Be realistic and you’ll be more than happy. The guy on reception speaks good English and is really helpful, he’ll tell you how to get about. ||You pay a little city tax at the end but it’s still worth it. ||The only downside to this hotel is the stone steps leading to your room. Don’t drink and then try to climb them. Could do yourself a mischief!! ||Perfect location for exploring Rome. Simple and basic but worth every penny for...
Read moreStayed 5 nights, family of 3 (13 month baby) and we found the hotel to suit our needs very much. Rooms was clean / tidy on arrival. Room was made everyday and cleaned with fresh towels. Breakfast was brilliant which consisted of delicious pastries and donuts delivered fresh from bakers (saw box in kitchen). We felt at ease at breakfast no one hovering over us, personally had 4/5 tea's in morning with numerous pastries. Bread, cereal, butter, jam etc was available. Coffea machine with different cjoices. WiFi worked perfectly. Staff were friendly and forever doing what they could to help. Power shower with very hot water! Location to termini fabulous 5-10 min walk.. colesium 15 minutes. Would recommend for anyone who just need to rest after a long day of sightseeing. Worked...
Read moreWe stayed in rome for 4 nights. We arrived here and thought lovely receptionist steffano and who was very helpful with a map. We finally checked in to our room! This is where it all went down hill. It had odd pictures all over the walls, holes in the walls, bed linning was blood stained, bathroom was vile, the floor was dirty and the furniture looked like it came from a skip! We asked to exchange rooms but the lady refused and even shouted at us! We eventually left because neither me or my husband could stand to be there a minute longer! No way could i relax in that room or shower! They wouldnt refund the money we had paid for the 4 nights! We ended up staying at hotel luce and it was gorgeous! I urge you not to stay here there photos and reviews paint a completely...
