Thank you for the great 4 nights in Rome. I and my partner had a quality stay at the heart of Rome where close to everything. The place is clean, safe, good size, good lighting with windows thou no view but not having any other building near by. ||Location: This was the tricky part since it was not written on the door but I arrived at 11 pm and found it so will you. |1. Arrive at Roma Terminal.|2. Find the McDonals OUTSIDE the station. |3. Face the McDonals and take walk to the direction of your left hand side. |4. You will see chinese restaurant... something ending name with "Hong Kong" in yellow brighten light. |5. 10 steps away you will see 17th century green door that look like an entrace to a museum or church. |6. Find Intercom on the door with name "moshimoshi" then tell the staff who will come to get you. ||Price: I paid 78 USD per night (tax incl.) for a good size of double bed, private bathroom, a big window, TV, Wifi and breakfast. ||The pros are:|1. It takes only minutes from Roma Termini station so allowing us to travel outside Rome or to metro with no rush. I could easily reach to other cities with first train and came back by the last one. I did not need taxi to transfer me from terminal to hotel like other hotel. |2. It is a humble bnb with 7 rooms so no noise at all. I hear the door shutting from time to time and seeing people in kitchen but no noisy. The most of guests are Japanese at that time. |3. Ground rule is strict. No visitors. No noise wich keep my stay at peace. |4. Access to food at all time. The staff leaves breads, jam, yogurt, tea etc. in the kitchen and guests have full access at all time. |5. Full access to kitchen. I love that I can heat things with microweave, boil coffee, and do some small cooking with equipment provided. |6. The place is spotless. |7. The staff is wonderfully helpful. We had arrived late, he waited. We wanted to borrow local celphone, he lent us for free during our stay. We looked for iron, he tried to find one for us. I could not ask for more. Thank you so much. |8. Access to cheap food. The food in supermarket at the 0 floor in the station is cheap e. g. a frozen dish of spaghetti is 3.5 euro, a bottle of water is 0.50 euro, a can of random beer is 0.90 euro. Moreover, the next door is a Turkish dinner, not the first class but taste very OK, a whole big dish of rice with beef curry is 6 euro, a dish of beef stake is 8 euro, Fish and Chip is 8 euro, a bottle of coca cola is 1.80 euro etc. |9. I have big luggages and this place has an elevator.. perfect! ||Cons: |1. street grafitti in front of the building makes it look scarry and old from the outside. The inside is ok thou not so new but very clean. |2. It situated next to the terminal so you will see some homeless in the street but I find it common in Rome thou didnt like it. |3. The place is quiet so I hear people closing front door from time to time. I am at the first room so the sound is clear. However, I am not normally stay during day time so this didnt borther me. It was quiet at night.. I had a good deep sleep. ||I am not going back to Rome soon but would come here again on my return. Thank you for the...
Read moreMy husband and I stayed at Moshi Moshi B&B 2 days in November 2016. ||You need to take a very tiny elevator to get to the floor.||The owners are polite and welcome you by explaining the modus operandi of the place. They give you a cell phone in case you need to contact them.||The place is very basic, not much color or decoration. The room has a bathroom, very basic there too. ||I usually always bring soap and shampoo when I travel. Since these items are usually always available, this time I had avoided bringing that extra weight. ||We were pretty upset when not even a little bar of soap was provided. ||We had only one towel each, either to dry your face or need after a shower and no mat on the floor. We had access to WIFI and a small TV.||We slept well.||The kitchen is very narrow. For breakfast, you're on your own to make your coffee or have some cereal or toast.||The only thing that we really appreciated about the place, was the location. It's close to Termini Station, so we could visit the city of Rome with more ease. Plus, we really appreciated that the owner allowed us to leave our luggage a couple extra hours. ||I recommend this B & B if you only need a...
Read moreLove the convenience of being next to the Roma Termini main station. The wonderful couple who owned the B&B were friendly and helpful. The facilities were clean and was quiet despite being in the midst of the bustle of the main train station. Felt safe even when both of us females arrived by train from Sorrento at 9 pm at night. It was just a matter of crossing the street to reach the B&B. Breakfast is basic and you just help yourself. There is an espresso coffee machine which makes a nice cappuccino as well. For Japnese guests, You can have Nato and porridge. Otherwise it is bread a spreads and ham with cheese. Definitely will recommend this to my friends. A plus point is for those who need to store their luggage after check out for a late flight, the owners are happy to oblige. They even provide a common bathroom for you to shower or just to freshen up. ...
