Have never been so fooled by positive reviews as for this accommodation. The accommodation is a converted floor plan in an apartment building and there is absolutely NOTHING that is the least luxurious with it. No elevator, bathroom with poor standard and water damage and room doors clad in white fake leather that are black with dirt around the door handles. We heard the neighbor above (that floor does not belong to this accommodation) get up in the morning, brush his teeth and talk on his mobile just as if he had been in our room, ie. it was extremely responsive.||Breakfast is served in a small room and is lean to say the least. The staff takes your order and then hides in the minimal kitchen where they study their mobile phones. There is no list for what is included in the breakfast, but you have to ask yourself. This is however done really fast ... When the time for breakfast is over, the wait staff (the owners) walk out of the breakfast room without saying a word.||We were fooled by the fact that we found positive reviews but after staying at the accommodation we realize that these reviews must have been written by the owners and their family or they have been bought. It is completely impossible that travelers may have experienced this place as something positive.||For the price this "luxury" accommodation charges for its rooms, we can only advise other travelers not to visit it. There’s nothing luxurious about this “luxury” residenza. I want to say right off that the staff here were wonderful, from the receptionists Silvia & Eros, to breakfast servers & cleaning personnel (probably same guys who did breakfast). But everything else you can forget about. The photos are misleading. Our room was tiny & uninviting (no space to unpack our stuff). Our shower had molds on the floor & ceiling and the shower head was loose & leaking. There was zero soundproofing so that we heard the smallest noise or talking from rooms nearby. The Wi-Fi was practically non-existent. You couldn’t do more than simple browsing of webpages (images wouldn’t even load). The TV is just Italian (and even that was scrambled sometimes) so no possibility for streaming Netflix or other apps. There weren’t even the barest amenities such as a little coffee machine or a kettle, or even shampoo & conditioner. And the area is not particularly interesting or good, impossible to get a taxi. We paid more than $400/night for this place. It is so completely not worth it. You’re paying more than you’d pay at a good hotel without any of the services - no laundry service, no tiny gym, nothing. Plus, it’s kept badly. The carpets on the stairs are totally worn out and unseemly. Aside from the staff, there literally isn’t one nice thing I can say...
