I was staying just up the road at River Palace hotel and had lunch here while I waited to check in - what a find! I’ve been here twice now in three days. Excellent food, menu and customer service. Each time I have been served by the same waiter who graciously entertains my Italian conversation and doesn’t reply in English all the time (which can be a little annoying, I clearly want to try!). The food is amazing and there’s real variety. It’s very reasonably priced and seems to be popular with the locals as well as tourists. Can’t recommend this place enough. Waiter also didn’t bring it for so long everyone else finished eating already. Update: the waiter offered to remove the hamburger charge on his own after seeing I didn’t eat it. I didn’t take him up because the restaurant already spent the money to make it, but props to Alessandro for offering. Upping to 3 star (from 1 star) to reflect good service.
