Finally a positive food experience in Rome. We started to doubt if it would happen. My partner took the salmon as a entree and I took the octopus. Both absolutely delicious, the different flavours chosen to mix the plates up were so good, perfect harmony between all the ingredients. For mains, we took the entrecôte as well as spaghetti lobster. The amount of lobster in the plate was more than enough and worth the price (30 euros). You could feel the spaghetti were freshly made. The entrecôte was cooked perfectly and delicious, as well as the side (potatoes). We had an Italian beer which was also very good, and we could not help ourselves but devour the bread - so good (coming from a French person). The atmosphere was nice, you could see the fish of the day and which one you would like to have for dinner. The restaurant being on a boat makes it that much more special. Great food experience, I highly recommend!

Prices were high and we were definitely underdressed - having been dressed to hike around the city all day. When we arrived and asked for a seat for drinks and appetizers, the hostess had to talk with a manager and look at the seating chart for almost 2 minutes before they told us we could have a seat near the water, but would have to be out by 8:30pm. Then, we say there watching as other people came in, got their drinks ordered, and got food and appetizers before we had to flag a waiter down to order. Then again to ask for a couple of plates to share our apps. Then again to ask for our bill, and finally ab4th time to actually pay. Drink was good, but not that good. I will not go back there again.

We had dinner here on Saturday evening about 1930 and it was absolutely lovely. We walked from our hotel 10 minutes nearby and at first impression I thought we were not going to find it but the restaurant is on a large boat docked at the Tiber River near a bridge. Our food was amazing and I had the -Tuna Tartare -Fettuccini -1 bottle of Chianti -a basket of delicious bread- fresh not hard -still water / not carbonated -Tiramisu- the best ever The scenery is very nice and the restaurant has a great vibe to it. Our waiter was very nice and he knew how to give us space to enjoy our meals. If you go here, make sure you make a reservation first. We will go back before heading to Napoli.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Baja, a unique boat restaurant located in the heart of the Tiber River. From the moment I stepped on board, I was captivated by the modern ambiance, delicious cuisine, and incredible atmosphere. It was truly an unforgettable experience.

The first thing that struck me about Baja was its stunning setting. Being situated in the middle of the Tiber River added a touch of magic to the dining experience. As the evening progressed, I had the pleasure of watching rowers pass by, adding to the lively and vibrant atmosphere. The views from the restaurant were breathtaking, creating a memorable backdrop for a delightful evening.

The restaurant itself exuded a modern and chic vibe. The interior design was tastefully done, with stylish furnishings and elegant decor. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect, from the sleek lighting fixtures to the comfortable seating arrangements. It was clear that a lot of thought had gone into creating an inviting and trendy space.

Now, let's talk about the food. The cuisine at Baja was nothing short of exceptional. The menu featured a wide range of delectable dishes, each prepared with the utmost care and creativity. From fresh seafood to tantalizing appetizers, every bite was a burst of flavor. The presentation was impeccable, showcasing the chef's artistry and passion for culinary excellence. The staff were knowledgeable about the menu and provided excellent recommendations, enhancing the overall dining experience.

What made my visit to Baja truly special was the atmosphere of fun and enjoyment. The restaurant had a vibrant energy that was contagious. Whether it was a group of friends celebrating a special occasion or couples enjoying a romantic dinner, there was a sense of joy and camaraderie in the air. The attentive staff added to the overall experience, ensuring that everyone was having a great time.

In conclusion, Baja is a gem of a restaurant that offers more than just great food. Its unique location on the Tiber River, modern ambiance, and incredible atmosphere create a dining experience like no other. The combination of delicious cuisine, stunning views, and a lively atmosphere make it a must-visit destination. I highly recommend Baja to anyone looking for an unforgettable evening filled with great food, entertainment, and...

Stop by while walking. Curious about the place on the Tibre river. Was there about 13h00. Waitress seems clearly not used to be there to say the least... was nervous, does not seem to know what to do... Nevertheless I got my bottle of aqua frizzante after 15 minutes and relax on a sofa on the terasse. The sun was nice and I even got the visit of two ducks in the water near the "boat". After more than one hour, I decided to leave, once again the waitress was in a panic mode and asked someone who looked to be the guy in charge to take care of me. He asked me what I have took... when I replied just a bottle of sparkling water, he told me to go, that it was fine, on the house !!! Seems too busy to bother doing an invoice for 3 euros... Nevertheless, it was a nice attention and I will certainly return to eat there during my next...
