This place is just amazing. We were there in mid January 2025, a room for one was around 900 euro, for two around 800 euro (breakfast and dinner included). It's next to a slope that gets you to a cabin lift, which is fantastic as you don't need to use any other mode of transportation than skiing. However might feel a little bit challenging for inexperienced skiers/snowboarders. If it's snowy and icy I would suggest being extra careful while driving to the hotel as the road might look a little tricky, we had no issues tho.
The service and the staff were so delightful, kind and friendly, I haven't been treated better and at some point started to feel a little bit guilty 😁
Breakfasts were an open table with tones of different tasty stuff and some of them were changing daily. The dinners were 4 course menu's and one of the nights was a candle dinner with 5/6 course menu, it was so delicious, even though I was full after the appetizer I couldn't stop eating. And OMG the desserts, I am still dreaming about them. You will not feel the need to eat anywhere else while you are there. There is also a bar that's opened until 11.
Has a nice, cozy spa, with 3-4 saunas, feet massage thingy and a relax zone. It's opened until 19:00.
The rooms were clean and had all necessary things that you might need.
I am definitely recommending it and will love to...
Read moreHotel Ronce is a true gem in Ortisei. The location was perfect for us. set just up a rather steep hill from the center of town, which meant it was wonderfully quiet and peaceful, yet still close enough to walk down and enjoy everything Ortisei has to offer. There is also a bus service available for those who would prefer. ||Our room was extremely comfortable, with a bed that made it easy to rest well after long days of exploring. When we arrived a bit early, the reception team welcomed us warmly, stored our bags without hesitation, and suggested we take the gondola up for lunch while we waited. It turned out to be a fantastic recommendation and gave us one of our favorite meals of the trip.||Since hiking was on our agenda, we asked about different routes, and the front desk staff went above and beyond. They took the time to explain the pros and cons of several hikes we were considering, which helped us choose the perfect outing. That kind of thoughtful guidance really stood out.||Breakfast each morning was a highlight...fresh, plentiful, and a wonderful way to start the day. Combined with the beautiful setting of Ortisei itself, it made our stay truly memorable.||We left Hotel Ronce feeling relaxed, cared for, and already talking about a return visit. I would recommend this hotel 100% to anyone visiting Ortisei and...
Read moreOnce stayed always stay - I think now about 7 times for my annual February skiing. (initially from Dubai, but now from back in New Zealand). ||Ah, the Italian food of the Dolomiti. Excellent. Breakfast is buffet and there is an excellent selection. In the evening is another excellent selection which changes nightly, and an extensive salad buffet. Decision making's delightfully difficult. ||||Bedrooms excellent, warm, spacious, and the ones I have stayed in have interesting views. ||Probably the best boot room for ski boots I have come across. Mine host is an ex ski instructor and with all the Moroder family friendly and efficient. Right from the start it has been a delight to correspond with them (always in English) - fast, & good answers to questions (not always so, especially parts of France). A good minibus provides morning and afternoon shuttles from the hotel to the valley floor with quick foot access to the cabinovia to the Alpi d Suisi ski area high above the hotel or to the village square where (free) buses leave for different ski lifts, or, scheduled services to other towns. Several times I have...
