One of the worst coffee experiences I’ve had in Italy. We ordered cappuccinos and croissants for breakfast. Not only was the service unfriendly, but we weren’t even given a receipt. After finishing my meal, I tried to use the restroom, only to find the door locked. A middle-aged woman with short blond hair rudely told me the toilet was for customers only. I calmly explained that I was a customer, but she demanded to see a receipt—in a patronizing tone—clearly unaware that her staff had never given us one.

I am coming back to get pastries and chocolates later this evening and will update the review accordingly :) I also liked the design of the place and there was no problem at all with the service! It was quick, the lady behind the counter was 100% on top of things managing to serve large groups of confused tourists like a pro. Prices were great also. Read moreThis place does give a 'kid in candy shop' type experience with all the chocolates and pastries laid out behind the glass counter and they do have so much choice. I bought a slab of dark chocolate with hazelnuts and chocolate covered nougat which were pretty delicious but they were overpriced.
