Le Rêve Sirmione — Hotel in Sirmione

It’s in an absolutely amazing location. Right by the ferry port and close to lovely restaurants. Breakfast was always really nice and you can tell a lot of effort was put into to it. However, be aware before booking that although the website states clearly breakfast is from 07:30 it is actually 08:30, we had early excursions booked and missed breakfast which we paid for on several days due to this which we didn’t get refunded. ||Also, we previously wished to cancel our booking as we decided we’d rather stay in lake como, which was well within the cancellation period, however we were told we wouldn’t get all of our money back and the owner didn’t abide by the cancellation policy. We did’t book through a booking website and instead through the owner directly. Lesson learnt, always book through an actual booking website, not on the phone! Lastly , the rooms could be cleaned slightly better, drawers with used tissues in, bins not emptied etc. small things which should easily have been noticed...

What a wonderful place to stay, right in the heart of the main square in Sirmione. The castle is seconds away as is the boat/ferry for all those trips across Lake Garda. The rooms are cleaned daily to a very high standard and the breakfast is as good if not better than most 3 star hotels. Paola is delightful as is Anna and we stayed in the Audrey Hepburn room which has a lovely little balcony. To see the lake from the balcony you do need to stand up but this is a very minor niggle as when you shut the patio door all the noise of the square is gone and tranquility reigns. Air con is good but no English TV but who wants it anyway! Sirmione isn't cheap but most of Lake Garda is expensive, think London prices. Paola will give you some discount cards and advise re travel if needed. She isn't based upon site so if you are planning to go do make sure that your eta is pretty accurate otherwise you may have to wait. Couldn't find one bad thing to...
