LUXURY SUITE SIRMIONE — Hotel in Sirmione

My wife and I plus our two children (14 and 16) stayed in Room 101 recently. The customer service team were prompt in supporting a remote check-in/out and for booking our travel to an from the nearby car park - which is €12.50 per day.||The suite we had had an open plan two bedroom suite with a shower positioned in full view of one of the queen sized beds. Although a privacy screen is present it doesn’t leave much to the imagination and meant everyone had to move to the other bed when someone was showering. ||Although the shower was good, the water dripped all over the floor where prior drips had rotted the skirting. ||In the same bathroom; the electrical socket, adjacent to the sink, was I’ll fitted and loose. Furthermore, evidence of mould/damp was present around the door frame beneath the air con. ||The room does include a tiny safe, which is smaller than an IPad but is mounted to a loose shelf in the wardrobe - hardly secure.||Lastly, the glasses, cups and coffee present in the room weren’t consistent with the number of people staying in the room nor the number of nights we stayed.||Ultimately, I was extremely disappointed by the suite mistakenly thinking I was getting some real luxury for the price I won’t be staying there again. ||Check the photos on Hotels.com as they are a little misleading. My husband and I spent 4 nights here and was left a little disappointed. When we arrived we needed to call as our keys where not available and we needed to wait for the host to come and drop them off as there is no reception. We had 2 large suitcases with us (our 4 nights here was part of a bigger trip to Italy) there was no offer to help us carry the suitcases up to the top floor, just simply opened the main door and walked away. When we got to our room; I was initially impressed however; we then noticed stains on the bedding; I have attached a photo. I was then really uncomfortable sleeping in the bed. During the 4 night visit the room was cleaned once and the stains remained. The room itself is very small, a little too small for a 4 night visit!
