Medea Residence — Hotel in Taormina

Highly recommended. We had a classy apartment overlooking the pool and garden with views of to the bay from the extremely spacious balcony(see pictures). There was an excellent deep bath and cascade shower. The bed itself was king sized and very comfortable. That coupled with powerful air conditioning ensured a relaxing nights sleep. The kitchenette had the essentials and everything was spotlessly clean. The pool is small but extremely well maintained with good loungers, shady spots under fruit trees and almost new decking. It never felt too busy or crowded.

The location is about a 1/2 a mile walk to the centre. The layout of Taormina means this does mean walking up some busy roads and a fair few steps, because its a hilly old town. Very nice room and bathroom, the only window you have is the door, that makes the room a bit sadish. You'll have to sign a document mentioning that they can enter your room but they aren't responsible for any theft.
