Definitely one of the best hotels we have stayed in Japan, the atmosphere was everything. The old japanese geisha house takes you back and let's you feel the authentic Japanese vibes you came for.
The hotel is clean and well handled, every staff member who handled us was more than amazing.
The Burger restaurant is off the charts with it's amazing burgers! Mind that the price is a little more than what you are used to in Japan.
The privates Onsen gives you the Japanese experience with your partner that you cannot have on many places for this price, it small and comfy. Mind that it is shared and you have to book your time when arriving to the hotel. It very old fashioned so do not expect something fancy.
Last but not least, the breakfast is provided to you beforehand and you heat up the bread and soup, we got a tomato soup and more pastries. We had it in our room and it was great! Make sure before coming that...

Our tatami mats were very comfortable as well. We enjoyed all the amenities, from the basement onsen (perfect for 1-2 people) to the delicious box burger restaurant attached. We were walking distance from town and a bus stop to take us around the mountain town. The staff was beyond incredible. I highly recommend this dreamy hotel, it’s perfect for people looking for a totally unique yet...

The provided breakfast was quite decent and included a soup, bread, and sweet bread. They also provide coffee, black tea, and green tea. The onsen is really nice, and the scheduling system is really helpful to make sure you can enjoy it privately. The check-in and check out procedure through the tablet was very easy as a Japanese resident, but I'm aware that for travelling foreigners, it was a bit more complicated. Be sure to have your passport on hand. There aren't always staff there, but the restaurant staff on the first floor were very helpful and lovely. The river outside is quite loud, but I personally found the flowing water sound...
