RESI STAY Fuyacho — Hotel in Kyoto

This place was great for the money! It was beautifully decorated and the tub was awesome!! It was well kept, clean, free laundry, plenty of clean towels available as well as a kitchenette. We were able to find fantastic grocery shops nearby that sold fresh foods! There were 2 minor things we didn't like: the stairs in our suite were too steep and the kitchen needed a stopper for the sink in order to wash dishes. However, the one BIG NEGATIVE the girl that checked us in did not tell us about the shuttle to the hotel!! She actually gave us instructions on how to ride the city bus to the hotel. But, we noticed a shuttle schedule and we had to ask someone about it and only then were able to get in line for the shuttle. I mean really with the luggage and language barrier that was very inconsiderate, and for this reason I did not give it a 5 star rating.

Response to owner: NO there was plenty of space: there was a reason she chose not to tell us about the shuttle as she tried to ignore us when we asked about the shuttle, but everyone else was told about...

Great place to stay. Everything was clean and tidy, actually looks better than in pictures. It was about 10minutes to the main road but about 20-30mins from Kyoto station. More space than other places...
